How to eat a hamburger?

We are having homemade grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, and french fries. I have 461 calories left. How can I eat this or adjust this to make it fit?
Update: I got about 12 fries, the patty, mustard, ketchup, and one slice of bread and I'm good. Still got 116 left. Yay!

I would probably eat at burger and hot dog without the bun if I were restricted on my calories left for the day. Or just have a burger with the bun and pass on the other stuff.

Log it all before you eat and see what fits.

I would have the burger or the hot dog but not both. Are the french fries fries or baked? I may have some or have salad or fruit instead.

    They're fried.

Just make it protein style and wrap a large lettuce leaf around in place of the bun

Burger...maybe without the bun. A serving of fries. Account for cheese and condiments if you have them.

Eat the burger exactly the way you like it but ONLY if it's a really good burger and totally worth it.

    Skip the fries.

Pick up hamburger and insert into mouth hole.
    Bite.
    Chew.
    Swallow.
Repeat until hamburger is completely eaten.

If you are using a knife and fork you are doing it wrong.

I use a knife and fork for restaurant burgers. They're always so sloppy and I can't stand stuff on my hands. :frowning:

Must have been tiny fries and a tiny patty. Hope you weighed and logged correctly.

I am often struck by the fact that:

80% ground beef (broiled) is 306kcals per 4oz.

Boneless, skinless chicken thigh is 140kcals per 4oz.

Based on that, I will often opt for a chicken thigh instead of a burger. Even with 80kcals of cheese, and other toppings etc. its lower in cals and, most importantly, I like it.

If I'm eating the burger, I will drop the bun, which can be close to 200kcals.

Yup. This is why I avoid burgers. I love them, but the nutritional cost/value just sucks. And the buns...fahgetaboutit! I eat a LOT of chicken breast and thankfully, I love chicken!

One of my weaknesses - The Hamburger. I eat one once a year. That's it.

Sometimes I keep Yasso frozen yogurt in the fridge for those "I've got 100 calories left!" days.

Well said. Nothing as good as a medium-rare Burger off of barbecue. Don't worry about going over your calorie limit one Burger is not going to make or break you if you have three or four or five that'll make or break you.
