I'm 5'8". I chose 138-140 as I feel good here and don't feel it's too low to reasonably maintain.

I'm 5'8" and I felt fantastic at 136. I'd say you're good, but if you're still not happy with how you look at 134, I'd focus on exercise/toning/recomp instead of losing more fat!

I eat below my BMR every single day. I wouldn't worry about it.

I've lost 17lbs in under 2 months on 1200/day. Some days up to 1300-1400, some days closer to 1050 if I'm not too hungry. it is not too few calories as long as the foods you're eating are filling and nutritionally dense (chicken, lean turkey, eggs, greek yogurt, vegetables, fruit).

Your goal weight is realistic, but at 5'8" and 156, I still wear a large or XL almost everywhere.

No effects for weight loss. I wish it were as easy as drinking warm water with lemon or ACV lol... CICO is the only way.
