In 6 months I went from 198 to 145, 53 pounds. After that things got hard. It took me another 7 months to lose the next 15 pounds, and I’ve been working on the last 5 for the last 5 months. So it really depends!

My favorite autumn/winter hack is just adjusting the Hershey's hot chocolate recipe: 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (2 calories) 2 tablespoons HERSHEY'S Cocoa (20 calories) 2 tablespoons sugar 1 tsp honey (21 calories) 1 cup milk unsweetened cashew milk (25 calories) Dash salt TOTAL: 68 calories I had one every day last…

Rice cakes are kinda chip-like. You can even get mini and flavored ones.

Yoga Walks Creative writing – keeps brain and fingers busy Note taking – writing long hand on any subject that interests me Cleaning – it's not fun, but I cant think about eating when I smell that cleaner smell

Funny, because I could eat plates of pasta and never feel full. OP, you have to try different foods and food combinations to see what makes you satisfied. It really is different for everyone. Some people are more satiated by carbs, some by fat. I think more might be sated by protein. This is assuming your calorie goal is…

I’ve never had it, but look up cloud bread. You make it yourself out of eggs and cream cheese.

They definitely burn calories!! Thanks for the encouragement, you brought a smile to my face. :)

Thanks. Congrats on finding a program that works for you! No, I am a stay at home mom to a 2 and 4 year old, and I don't know anyone in real life who's into fitness. I have a hard time getting a babysitter, so I'm pretty much limited to body weight exercises I can do at home with my kids hanging off my body... lol. The…

I ate 2 oreos after lunch and then stopped!

Hi! Increasing your exercise can result in a water weight gain. Your muscles need the extra water right now. Stay motivated by reminding yourself it’s not a fat gain, it’s just water, and it is temporary. It might be a fun experience to weigh every day and see how long it takes to come off.

Yes, but I kind of wish I hadn't. I don't have very much muscle mass and I'm pretty overwhelmed with the idea of strength training.

Coffee or tea are great for energy, as long as you don't overdo it. And it gives you something to hold and sip.

Hey, I have the same stats as you! Just wanted to say you are not alone. I’m finding it really difficult to get below 130 lbs. I’m shooting for 1 pound loss per month. Please give yourself some time and be gentle with yourself! ((Hugs))

I’m a stay at home mom, very familiar with the loneliness as well. Feel free to add me if you want! So sorry you’re having a tough time.

You didn’t say your band size, but this is my favorite sports bra: https://www.nike.com/t/alpha-womens-high-support-sports-bra-bkTvJonm/AA0501-010 It’s very comfortable, molded but not underwire. It is getting hard to find, though. I bought mine in March and at the time they had them at Dick’s and Nordstrom.

Amazing work! You look great! I wish every post like this had this kind of update!

I can now swap clothes with "the skinny sister."

Hi! I am a mom of 2, age 30. I started at 198 in April 2017 and am now 130. Trying to lose the last 5 pounds. Feel free to add me. :)

What brand was it? I need a new mattress, too, and I'm interested in this!

Today marks my 500 day logging streak! Just finished a 3 week maintenance break, the first one where I only ate maintenance and not in a surplus. I am 2 pounds up, but I think that can be contributed to water weight. Going into a modest 10% deficit today, with weekends at maintenance. Hopefully this will be gentle enough…

Well, it's Virgo season – good time to start a self-improvement project. When dealing with your health I would encourage a scientific approach. ;)

I've been struggling this summer, but y'all are so inspiring. Thanks for this thread, it is so uplifting. :)

I am another lady with PCOS, and I just wanted to chime in and say I have not found that I need fewer calories than I should, either. Don't let the diagnosis hold you back! I am 5'5" and maintaining 130 lbs on 1800 (lightly active). I lost all my weight on 1700 a day. Good luck and enjoy your diet break. You've earned it!…

My pants are back to fitting right again after gaining a few pounds back.

I really like your ice cream bar solution. I have been fighting the last 5 pounds for 4 months now. I'm taking another maintenance break because I'm so frustrated. I'm gonna try this next time I feel the urge to binge on carbs late at night. 200 cals of ice cream is way better than 600 calories of crackers.

I'm also female, but losing 70 pounds I went down 2 sizes, and I could probably have gone another half size. My husband is about 100 lbs overweight and just looking at his fingers, I can see he has a lot to lose there. I wouldn't do it.

I did day 1 of couch to 5k yesterday.

Thank you! I did - exhausted myself and then passed out at 8:30 pm! :D

I wore a swimsuit without a skirt on it... and I'm going to do it again today!

Fruits and veggies are all pretty high volume low cal. I like the sugar snap peas you can buy in a bag prewashed, that way I just pop em open and eat like a bag of chips.
