@NEHandweaver I feel you on moving. I pretty much stand all day at work (I did get an adjustable desktop so at least I can stand instead of sitting all day now) and with five kids there is a lot of running around at night (*but not actual running). My husband works nights so he goes to bed when I get home. By the time…

@goal06082021 i appreciate the advice...but i do need to drink more water so 64 oz is just a somewhat arbitrary goal that i have set for myself because it would about double my current intake. When I hit that point (or if I see that I am where I should be before that) I will reassess. ;)

Weekly goals: -Log food daily on mfp - I did fairly well with this, but forgot over the weekend (when I was at home with my husband and five kids instead of sitting in front of a computer all day, go figure)! I am being honest about logging the crap I am eating too, which should be obvious but is not necessarily. I know I…

Hi everyone - I am jumping in here after kind of lurking last month and being quietly successful (down 8 pounds from May 6 to June 8). I jumped back on to this site about a week ago after a couple years off (and significant weight gain). I kept telling myself that I was good with it, but looking back at my pictures here I remember how good I felt and how much energy I had...I may be happy with how I look, but I want to be happy with how I feel again! I am…

I am a 36 year old mom of four (2, 6, 9, and 11) and would love the support of other moms (and anyone else!). My family is very supportive and my kids are adventurous eaters, so since i started eating healthier they have all joined me, which is of course a win...but i still struggle sometimes to ignore the treats that we…

I try to stop around 7 pm, but only because evenings are when i tend to eat the things that i normally try to avoid (allthecarbs)...so just have found that personally if i set a time it helps me to stay on track better. I second the notion that it is really just what works best for each person!
