The floors, Just dog hair everywhere. Toilets seem gross, but as long as they are functioning correctly, they are easy. Lysol wipes and toilet bowl cleaner.

You took your rest day early. Just back in there and don't let it snowball. I know I take a day off, then it snowballs into a week.

If you are too worried. Take off a long weekend from weightlifting. I have experienced a weight drop when I come back from a break.

Ok, not dress sizes, but I have lost 20 lbs over a year and none of pants fit anymore. If I forget to wear a belt, my pants will fall down.

WRONG. Carbs is another way to lose weight, My diet is 150 carbs a day, about 50 carbs per meal. Alot of mornings, I will eat the 40 something carbs of oatmeal, then salad for lunch, which had less than 20 carbs. So fit it in when you want. Yes, oatmeal tastes carboard, I have to add brown sugar.

I disagree about the yucky part. It shouldn't be a diet, it should be a permanent lifestyle change. I try to eat 2-3 meals a day for a 150 carb diet. I frequently go over. Indulge within reason, have some candy, one snack size bag and leave the rest for tommorrow. At night I still want a treat, so I have a 4 oz Haagen…

Congratulations on starting a lifestyle change. Stick with it and start excersizing, at least take a good walk.

I use the plastic Gladware or similar brand. I found some of mine, BOGO. Freeze it then microwave it. I usually eat it within 2 weeks, so I am not worried about keeping it sealing it for a super long time.

Always have alchohol and a glass of water before the next alcoholic beverage. That should at least slow you down.

Spinach for me. Then a huge salad with lettuce, tomato, CUCUMBER, carrots. Just a note, apples are higher in carbs than most vegetables. Not as bad as a banana though.

A lifestyle change, that's awesome. Yo-yo dieting is worse, because you could gain even more weight. I am curious to see your diary. I am on a 150 carb diet. Make sure you tell your friends what you are doing. Then they know you will not go out drinking empty calories.

Kudos to you for quiting smoking and trying to lose weight at the same time. That is hard, because you want to eat more when you not smoking.

Basically, if you crave ice cream, have a little bit. I buy the tiny 4 oz Haagen Dazs, only 10 carbs, so not bad on my 150 carb diet. Sometimes I have 2, so 20 carbs. I also crave a normal coke, so 7.5 oz can, is about 20 carbs. Make sure you do not binge on a cheat day.

Whoa! be careful of Chipotle, their chicken burrito is 1000 calories. Their chicken burrito bowl is 625 calories. I am not sure how each ingedient works out, but it might be the rice.

Coke. I still binge on it sometimes. 16oz is binging. It is bad for me too, but I drink Coke One and Diet Dr Pepper, so I won't have the carbs.
