Hey all. Jeff here. I live in Virginia and have been at this for 42 days. So far, lost 11 lbs. My short term motivation is a Spartan race I'm running on Sept 10. Really needed to drop pounds and add muscle. So far so good. We'll see if I'm ready. Good luck to everyone. Glad we're all in this together.

Drinking a ton (OK, a gallon) of water daily, so that's factoring into the week 1 drop. Now that my body has adjusted to the water intake, I expect a…

Looking for MFP friends for mutual motivation and accountability. I used MFP years ago and am convinced that calorie/macronutrient tracking is key to effective healthy weight loss. I'm one week into my re-transformation back to my ideal weight/health and will reach my goal. No doubt about it. If you plan on or do record…

Jeff here. Been dormant in MFP for a long time, but committed to a new start. Seems like most aspects of my life will be improved by dropping 15-20 pounds. Doesn't seem like a lot, but it's not easy considering I've been at my existing weight for a few years. Starting weight = 176.5 6-week goal weight = 166.5
