I do IF and used to take cream and sugar/sweetener in my coffee. Moved to black coffee out of convenience. Now I can't go back to creamer/milk/cream and anything sweet in it. Didn't take long either but now I need it black or it tastes bad.

Less loss meaning over 6 months I was loosing less overall weight per month. But you are 100% correct the bigger objective of fat loss was where I was seeing my changes in the mirror. Which is way more important. Hahaha going from low carb to a more balanced carb diet definitely showed a quick increase in overall weight…

Agreed with above. From my experience, the only thing that helped my joints and ligament pain was fish oil, mind you high doses.

Crossfitter and tried Keto - My workouts started to be affected due to low energy during long WODs. Brought more carbs back in and everything has gotten a lot better. I still stick to CICO but focus more on getting better at my workouts. This, in turn, has changed the way I look in the mirror but less loss on the scale.…

Somatotypes don't have much to do with weight loss. However, I believe they do have an effect on the types of fitness training we tend to gravitate towards. Doesn't limit what we can do though.

I like it. Seems to be working for me CICO still applies. I do a 23:1. The best part to me though is, in general, I feel like my stomach is tighter all day.

I can't base anything off BMI. Even when I'm low body fat my BMI isn't very good. I started with a goal to get back to my high school football weight. Got there, but noticed I still have much farther to go. Now I'm going by Bodyfat % instead. I found losing weight is great but you can end up just looking like a smaller…

I love it! for two reasons. 1) Helps me restrict my calories, CICO still is key. 2) All day my stomach stays tight and much flatter.

I'm down from 307 to 235. So far no loose skin except I can see maybe a little tiny bit starting right under my belly button. I've lost fast and have had no issues yet. I keep my diet high in protein and really focus on weightlifting daily. I just hope to keep as much muscle mass as possible till I get down to 200. Take a…

More than likely water. My weight fluctuates drastically day to day depending on sodium intake and water. As much as 2-5lbs. I only check the scale maybe once a week if not longer. The mirror and how my clothes fit I find more satisfying.

Yikes, reading all these makes me feel lucky. I had it for around 3 years. Then one day I noticed it was gone and now I have numb spots on my calves.

Goodluck! It's super hard and I feel your struggle. I try to fill up on foods that leave you feeling fuller for longer. More importantly, I just make sure I have them readily available so that when I do have a bad carb/sugar craving I can eat something and try to avoid the craving. Black Coffee also helps with cravings for…

Mine is orange flavour liquid, not the capsule. I don't get the fish burps but I taste orange all day. Which is less annoying. I find if I take it on an empty stomach it's worse.

Might make sense that as fat cells decrease in size the fluid-filled space around them will increase for a period as the body attempts to maintain homeostasis. The increase in the fluid-filled space would make the fat under your skin feel different as it is shrinking. Then at some point, you expel that water which would…

I go up and down daily. Pure water retention - sodium levels, and glycogen (when working out). Took 2 weeks off the gym at Christmas and lost around 6lbs. Which shocked me I thought I would have gained over the holidays. Started back up in January and gained it back in a week. Now its the daily up and down with the odd…

Technically you could loose a pound a day. Would be water though and only for a very short period, maybe for a couple days. Then eventually be replaced with water retention and you'll gain it all back. So is the cycle of the scale moving up and down day to day. Loosing fat is different IMO then weight. As for protein only…

Thats Awesome! I think my shoes are all to big to have noticed it in my feet. Mine was my fingers, wedding ring fit again.

What I was told. Weight Loss = Diet Only (Loose Fat and Muscle) Fat Loss = Diet & Exercise (Loose Fat and Less Muscle) Specifically weight training From everything I've read and my trainer. To keep muscle you need to use it. So Diet and exercise work together. Or else you can end up looking the same just lighter.

Thats a good question Natural vs Chemical. The FDA seems to be having a hard time to. "From a food science perspective, it is difficult to define a food product that is 'natural' because the food has probably been processed and is no longer the product of the earth. That said, FDA has not developed a definition for use of…

Very true! But if I had the choice and i had to drink one. I would fit the Dry Wine into my calories. There lots of arguments above about aspartame positive/neutral/negative. I don't know much about it to be honest and don't know if i'm for or against it. I'm just saying I would choose the wine. If my choice was water or…

I drink lots of water. Probably more then a gallon. Sometimes wish this was my office...

I would choose the wine.
