I did body pump for quite awhile. It's a good start when you're not familiar with strength training. I had a good coach who did pay a lot of attention on form. For me it was a good step up to the real deal. I don't do classes like that anymore cause it's more endurance and because working on the beat you are limited on…

Same, works well for me.....calculates your 1RM. Simple but a very good log app to work with. You can import / export your data and download an excel sheet if you want.

We all started once.......I started running with the 5k start to run app at my mid 30......1st excersise I thought I could never finish this journey.....began with 1 minute walk 1 minute run and so on. Ended with running 15 km until I step food in the gym and got hooked on weight lifting. Besides that I tried every class…

No problems with creatine pills. But taking whey and I found out lately all milk products give me digestive problems 🥴

Sorry to say but nobody can motivate you because motivation is a temporary thing.....you've to create new habits.......motivation will not keep you on track for long.....something will happen on your way and boom gone is your motivation.....habits and a change of lifestyle is key....search for people you can learn…

46 and in my best shape ever. Wish I started strength training/weight lifting when I was younger but it's never too late 👊👊

Wish 2021 will be better. Stay safe you all. We're in lockdown......no gym, no hairdresser.....don't know which one I miss the most 😂 Let's keep on going strong 👊👊

Here the same........make sure you eat enough and lift like @sardelsa said. Cardio isn't the answer.....although I take spinning class for condition and training my legs as I like to go on my racebike once in awhile for long distances 😁
-
Turning 46 next week 😱.......I'm considering not counting anymore......oh well just calories now and then 🤪😂

Good afternoon 🤗

The temperature 🌡 🌞is rising in Europe......is that an excuse to skip your workout 🤔 ?

Maybe you can buy some resistance bands. You can train full body with those. Now gyms are closed i use them next to some weights and can make a split training. I even made progression using these bands. It's cheap, need no space and you can use them wherever and whenever you want

https://mennohenselmans.com/the-cardio-comedown/ Read this.......his studies are evidence based. You can't be a runner and be a bodybuilder at the same time. You don't lose all muscles bij running but if you want to build it's not smart to do that much cardio. So decide what body composition you prefer the most. I don't…

And that's a healthy relationship with food. There are no good or bad food categories. Some have less nutritients than others but it doesn't mean its totally bad to eat it. If it fits your macro's just eat and you'll be happy and healthy .......win win situation. I do intermittent fasting once in a while. For me its an…

Feel free to add me......I can use some support. It's so hard to stay motivated. My gym is still closed to 1st of july. I've mixed feelings when they open up wether to go or not. Almost 46 so I need to keep on working to stay shredded and fit.
-
What do you expect from intermittent fasting ? And why do you want to use it? It helps in different ways depending what your goal is.

😂😂 I'm using resistance bands regularly......I did legs two days ago and now I can't keep up my dog without 😡☠👿😡
I know for sure I want to get to 132 which has been my goal weight since day one. I went from 186 to my current 166 and have calculated my percentage of body fat to 27%. I want to get to a lean physique which is what I’ve always wanted for myself. Mostly to show abs. I do have a weightlifting routine which I do 6…

15 to 18 % BF is for die hards. If you wanna be a bikini model or fitness model you can aim for that but for most women this is not something you can keep up all year round. I'm at 18 % now but I'm lean build.....I've the right genes and don't have to do much to stay that way. Lucky.....but for most females 21 % is okay…
-
I spend a lot of my free time training my working dog. When I'm not at my job it takes me 4 hours a day to go out with him. Thats my secret why I'm so lean 😂😂

50 is just the beginning! I've friends in their 80s and 90s who are learning new skills and sports. It's never ever too late!
😃 yessss it's just the beginning......i'm doing more sports now at age 46 than i did at age 20. Its just a number , nothing more

When the weather allows me to hit the road I ride about 40 miles once a week. Started late at age 42 because I didn't like running anymore. I wanted to do some cardio besides weight lifting so I bought my first road bike. I loved it since my first ride......it helped me through lock down when the gyms where closed. Up here…

You'll not regret if you get yourself a good bike. I ride mine every week. It's a Sensa. Bought it at a bike shop. I wanted to try out different bikes and get good advice from pro's. You dont want a bike which doesn't fit you if you wanna do long rides.

Okay maybe I need to refine my point of view a little......... Body recomposition protocols are typically more effective if: You’re a beginner. Meaning that you’re within your first year of proper and consistent training. You’re detrained. Meaning that you’ve taken at least a couple months off from training OR you’ve never…

Thanks for the thread. But side note that it's not easy to accomplish.

He can......obese and newbies can build muscle mass while cutting. He needs to calculate his TDEE, eat enough protein, lift heavy 🤪💪and have patience
