I’m in, a lot of days I don’t feel motivated enough to get to the gym. Yesterday I skipped out but today I did 3 30sec. planks, 30 squats, 20 push ups, 30 deadbugs and 25 mins of yoga. Going to spin this evening as well

35lbs Down in 1 year

It is possible but has many factors. Your work out regimen, diet, and metabolism, health condition, starting weight etc all play a role. If you are going to do I.T, you will have to work out aggressively but MAKE SURE YOU GET ENOUGH FOOD. If you don’t get enough calories you’ll gain everything you lose and more back. Also…

After reading your responses i think you’re my favorite person ever

This is what I found too, not being able to get your heart rate up while doing cardio. I’m guessing this has an effect even if you don’t go to the gym and are relying on nutrition for weight loss because during the day even just walking your heart rate isn’t where it would be without a beta blocker. That being said you…

Turning 24 this month

-When sitting in a chair— instead of your leg being extended out so far when you cross your legs it’ll fall next to your other calf. -your feet will get smaller/shoe size might change - you’ll notice weight loss in weird places first like your wrist -people will ask you questions about how you lost weight when they notice…

You could be gaining muscle and losing fat at the same time. That’s usually what happens when you lose inches and the scale stays the same. Muscle weighs more than fat so this is completely normal

I have a really bad sweet tooth. I got something called Crave Crush from vitamin Shoppe. It pretty much is like a little mint but it coats your tastebud receptors. It makes sugar cravings disappear in seconds and actually if you eat something sweet after eating this “mint” you won’t be able to taste It. Helps so much…

I live in NYC so we can pump our own but some gas stations are full service meaning an employee pumps gas for you. Whenever I go across the river to NJ it’s illegal to pump your own gas. I like pumping my own for the sole reason that I only have one car to worry about so it’s faster getting out. But in the winter it’s…

I’m vegan for the many health benefits, I don’t care to push other people to be vegan but if you decide you do want to be vegan just know there are other protein sources and plenty of lifters that are vegan, you just have to do your research and get creative. But do what you like best and what works for you! It’s…

I’m in, my birthday on the 22nd will be the only exception though, and I’ll only have 2 drinks

Are you sure you’re eating enough calories?
-
I do intermittent fasting. I eat from 12pm-8pm every day. Basically after 13 hours your body starts to feed off of your fat so if you fast for 16 hours, your body is burning fat for 3 hours straight. It’s stopped me from snacking as much and it’s not that hard to do. Right when I’m getting really hungry, it’s time to eat

Honestly, watch the show “Extreme Weightloss” on YouTube. It’s by Chris and Heidi Powell, they train people to lose hundreds of pounds in one year. I didn’t have that much to lose but I.T motivated me so much and taught me so much about consistency, dedication, nutrition, exercise etc. pretty much all the episodes are…

I definitely will, I tend to do very well for a while then fall off. Having someone to message when I start to fall off could help me a ton! Feel free to message me as well if you need one :)

It does but it’s processed. I could’ve been more specific and said whole food vegans or something but the vast majority of vegans refer to this type of eating as plant-based vegan. I’m just trying to weed out the vegans that eat a lot of meat substitutes or processed foods as it doesn’t align with my lifestyle. If you have…

You just motivated me so much. I really appreciate your reply. The best part is knowing you’re able to lose the weight because you’ve done it before. The hardest part is staying motivated and consistent. Let’s do this together!

90% of my calories come directly from whole plants. Whereas some people eat a lot of processed vegan foods like pasta and breads or substitute meats etc. 90% of what i eat comes from grains, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds and only about 10% from processed foods.

Thank you ❤️❤️

Thank you! I still have a way to go but I’m happy when I look at pics to see how far I’ve come. Unfortunately it’s very hard for me to see anything other than my “before pictures” even when I currently look in the mirror but it’s a work in progress.

I feel the exact same way. The only time I really notice is when I realize I now wear a M in both pants and shirts rather than a L/XL. Or a 8 in pants rather than a 14. In the mirror I see the same girl I saw at 199 lbs even though I’m now 168. Honestly pictures are what keeps me going. It’s very hard to tell without…
