I feel this would be great, but unfortunately it is way out of my budget as a parent and uni student

The pandemic and feeling isolated has left me so unmotivated and I'm really struggling with it :(

Thank you for commenting  Yeah the planning is a big part as I just have no idea where to start. I much prefer following a video as I get confused with reps and sets and all that. But there are so many on YouTube I don't know where to start. I think the concentrating too, like I can put a movie or programme on when…

I suppose an hour is a lot to fit in being a single parent to a 3 year old and full time uni student, but yeah maybe if I split it to two it might work. From looking at her programme it is just strength and not cardio, is it important to do both or will just strength be sufficient. As a 10 week programme it is a big…

I did see this and thought it would be good but like you it is quite a chunk of time a day. Also would strength training help and would I see a physical difference if I do carry extra in places as I am worried I wouldn't see a difference as thought I had to focus on cardio to lose the excess weight before building muscle…

I am in a calorie deficit as well but I know exercise will help the process. I am a single mum to a 3 year old so it is very difficult for me to do those kind of things that you have said so that's why YouTube and online programmes are what I am using.

Thank you. I'm looking to loose about 1.5 stone and tone up. They are my main goals.
-
So 3x full body routine a week? And that's it? And find them on YouTube?
-
Also where would I find a program?
-
Oh can you explain a little more. I'm very new to it all :)
-
Sorry should have stated I'm doing a 15-30 minute YouTube video. Cardio twice a week and the rest strength.
-
What do you mean by established training programme? I will have a look thank you :)
-
Oh I don't really understand the groups as quite new to figuring out the community. But the ones that I have seen seem pretty inactive. Do you know of any good groups? X

I workout once my little one has gone to bed. I have done it with her awake before and she either joins or potters around usually looks at some books. Feel free to add me anyone :) mum to a 3 year old

Thank you all so much for your replies! I have changed my goal to 1 pound a week and the calories are a lot more realistic for me. Thank you all so much! 😊

Hi, I have it set to 1.5 pound a week and lightly active. I am 23, 5 ft 9, and I weight 12 stone, 7 pounds :) thank you for commenting

Thank you both so much

I was following a very intense workout challenge but I have issues with my ankles and wrists that I am trying to get sorted with my doctor so have had to go for blood tests etc. So have to take it very lightly now.

Because I have a child and I don't want to restrict her because of my eating habits. And also because I have tried not having it in the house before but that can also lead me to binge eating.
-
I really don't have any self control. Anything sweet or junk food in my house, I eat it. I have a tendency to binge and I don't know how to stop. It is really upsetting as it has resulted in me eating over my calories all this week and I have been doing well with weight loss so its upsetting

Hi, I am 5"10 and want to lose just under 2 stone. I'm not very active and wish I had the energy to exercise but I'm a single mum to a toddler so just exhausted all the time. I have it at 1 lb a week. I am just always eating and I don't know how to stop this. I don't know if it's hunger or boredom. I have a ridiculous…

** I'm raising my daughter vegan. She is 2 and thriving! She eats lots of lentils, beans, peas, nuts, tofu, lots of veggies have protein too. If you look up how much protein we actually need it's not as much as people think. Also thing of the amount of large herbivorous animals that get all their protein from plant…

I would say yes because cows milk is not good for your health. It is full of puss and hormones, plant based is they way to go :)
