We found some surprise squash volunteers! We had some extra soil so we piled it around them and made a new bed. They’re probably some strange accidental hybrid, but I’m excited about it anyway 😅

Great start everyone! I love those shoes @skippygirlsmom . I started out with 4.7k today- little shorter than I was aiming for but there was a bit of a twinge in my foot (not the good kind) so I stopped early. Injury-free being the goal above kms. Still aiming for 60kms this month :)

Hey everyone!! I’m increasing my goal from last month just a bit from 50k to 60k. That’s a 5k 3x a week, with a bit of wiggle room to miss a run as long as a add a bit of mileage for a longer run once a week. Nice to see you all here again! 😃

I’m very happy to say I surpassed my goal of 50k in June and ran 55k! I’m really shocked and pleased with myself and grateful to this group. I’m up to 29kms out of 50 as of yesterday. I went for a loop around a nearby lake and jumped in for a swim afterwards- it was gorgeous.

Personally, I respond to my cravings by indulging the craving. A few weeks ago I got an almond croissant as a snack and logged the calories after I ate it. LOL. Turns out it was almost 500kcal. Here’s a plant update! The beans are too yellow (along with many other things) we’ve had a bit of trouble stemming from some bad soil we got this year, but things are looking better for the most part. We just amended with some blood meal for nitrogen and hopefully that helps!

I think overeating for one day will not make a huge difference to your actual weight, aside from bloating or water weight. From a total layman’s perspective I think you should look at your daily intake and consider increasing calories slightly- you may not be getting enough to eat if binging is happening. So nice to see everyone’s progress! I’m at 14.5/50k for this month, on track to finish on time. I missed one run in order to go camping/hiking/paddleboarding but I’m okay with that, and made room in my running schedule for it. Feeling good so far!

I’ve been tracking my intake and doing HIIT 3X a week. I also have 50 lbs to lose and I’m currently about 10 lbs down :) I’m not a trainer, just an average person but add me if you want since we seem to have similar goals!
