Hi,please feel free to add me!

Hi, T2 diabetic here, which I control with diet and exercise, no meds. I have an open food diary if you're interested in seeing what I'm eating.

Congratulations on all your hard work and success. What an inspiring story!

It's ok, I worked it out. You have to go to settings, in case anyone else wants to know.

Hi All, please feel free to add me if you're looking for motivation and support. I'm good at responding to messages. 37, female, Auckland, NZ.

I only weigh once a week. I personally don't think it's a good idea to weigh every day, nor do you need to to stay on track if you're logging all your food and exercise on here. But that's just my opinion

Hi, I just joined 4 days ago and I have an open food diary. I will add you. Please bear in mind that I have T2 diabetes which I control with diet and exercise, no meds, so that's why my carbs and sugars are quite low (but not too low). I'm female, 37 and live in Auckland, New Zealand. A 16 pound weight loss in three weeks…

I would like to be a part of this thread. Anyone, please feel free to add me. I have a bit more than 25lb to lose but it's a good start and I like to break it up into smaller segments so it doesn't feel so daunting.
-
Hi Tim, I've added you as you sound exactly like me! It will be good to support each other. Anyone else on this thread, please feel free to add me.
-
Hi bufger, I have added you as a friend so we can support each other.

I started using aasics when I was about 20 (I'm now 37). I do a lot of running (at the moment, x3 9k runs each week), but I wear my shoes for gym workouts (strength training, classes etc when I'm not running). I am still with the model Gel Cumulus which I was recommended by a shoe science store that videotape your feet…

Done! Thank you!

Hi RunnerGirl238, hope you don't mind but I'm going to add you :)

I am very sorry to hear that cgfred. I was in that situation back in 2016. Did the doctor put you on medication or just recommend diet and exercise to control your blood sugar?
-
Please feel free to add me. I'm female, 37 and in Auckland. Thanks.

Please feel free to add me. I'm new. I'm not sure if my food diary is open. Is this the default or do I need to do something to make it open to other users?

Thanks Scotty2HotPie. It's not easy being really careful about what I eat, incorporating exercise in my diet and testing my blood sugar regularly but I feel well and that is the best feeling in the world! Maintaining a healthy weight also makes it easier to control blood sugars. Once I get into a pattern of healthy eating…
