Yes thats how l actually lost close to 50lbs. Ate my goal weight maintenance. It doesn't work for everybody because the weight loss is super slow. It took years. But it can be done. Best of luck

I lost by walking too. Walking away from calories that are too high for me. Walking from all or nothing mentality. Walking tomy exercise equipment and finally walking toward my beer but counting in my daily allowance of calories.

Honestly it couldn't hurt to showcase, older and or larger folks performing exercises. Plenty of older and fatter people do them. Come on MFP guve everybody a chance. Also l think the ideas about concentrating on what you can do is a great idea. Let us know if you do start up a thread.

I would go to active and see what happens. If weight loss stalls go back to light. Either way great job so far

I do it but, only because it is easier to stay in calorie deficit for me that way. If u dont stay in calorie deficit u might not lose as much or as quickly or at all.

I dont use it but l think it's a great idea if u want ur meal times to be around the same time every day. To the poster above lm sure he just wants it for that purpose.

Yes my thunder thighs went down a lot. I do bicycle and elliptical plus weights. They are still large but firm.

I do occasionally and have during my 41lbs weight loss n maintenance. The key word is occasionally. Too many cheat days dont work for me. I realized that l was only cheating myself lol. Anyway, to answer your questions No l dont log calories and if l eat out l dont worry about it since lm not logging for that day.

You didn't gain excess weight because of only one day of excessive eating. Its the cumulative that counts. If u want to overindulge one day, go ahead. Just get back to tracking the next day. Also a little extra activity won't hurt. This is how I have lost and maintained 50 pounds off.

I assume that its fatigue from high activity/ low calorie level. Ive had this experience before myself and chalked it up to that. Once in awhile if l go too hard and dont back it up nutrients wise , as in, have enough calories but all junk l feel like that too. Best of luck to u

Of course l usually only rest 15 to 30 sec between sets and try to march during that time, but l still take 10 min off the total time.
