Thanks everyone for your responses. I had set my goal to lose 1 pound per week and itโs still only giving me 1290 calories. Iโm averaging about 1 pound loss per week atm. When I first joined MFP, I put I wanted to lose 2 pounds a week which I thought was ok because I had about 80 pounds to lose. It gave me 1200 cals a dayโฆ

If I up my calories by 500, that will put me at 1700 and my maintenance cals are 1800.. wouldnโt that mean pretty much no loss?

Thank you so much for clearing that up for me. My trainer probably will say no to backing off but the problem is I need to be able to do a lot of walking at work so the last 2 days have been a real problem. ๐

Thank you very much to everyone that has replied. Since my post 2 weeks ago Iโve now lost a total of 35 pounds. Still donโt feel much different though. Iโve taken your advice though and taken some pictures! Thanks again and happy new year! ๐

Hi everyone. Just a quick update. Today is 100 days logging! Iโm down 34.2pounds. (15.5kgs). I have just started to ramp up my exercise as I still have a fair bit to lose. Good luck everyone! ๐

Hi Lauren, Iโm very similar to you in that Iโm also on 1200 cals a day and today is my 89th day. Iโm only 5โ1 and currently weigh 76kgs (167 pounds). I find my dinner the hardest to work out what to have. Mostly chicken breast and salad or some meat and veggies. Good luck on your journey! ๐
