meanwhile try some biking. With the weight off your foot it is easier than running and you can get your heart rate up!

I won a photoshoot at Walmart and went. And I like the photos. I said I was uncomfortable with my tummy but she choose great poses! This is quite a victory for me to be body positive as I slim down.

I wouldn't worry about calories on a biking vacation. Eat what your body needs for fuel and continue weight loss when you are home.

and I was going to say hill repeats on your bike. Find a hill you can climb-just- and do it a few times.

Do some weights in a seated position Work those arms-you will feel better and get your body ready for more!

Avoid restricting calories just yet. Work with your lactation consultant and get milk supply well established. I found the best time for losing weight and breastfeeding was when the babe was over 6 months and eating some food as well as breastmilk.

I do a drop in aquatic zumba class when my schedule allows. Yes it works in that it raises my heart rate and I have slight muscle soreness afterwards. So it is improving my cardio-vascular system and strengthening my muscles. It is just one way I exercise.

I attended yoga today. That is 2x this week-something I have not been able to do (for other health reasons) since the fall.

When I get sore from my SI joint I go to a chiropractor. That gets everything back in alignment.

get (or rent) a knee scooter. You kneel on it with the injured ankle not bearing weight. It will let you walk and also get to the pool etc. See a health dealer-like those that supply walkers and wheelchairs.

Aim for 5000 steps and when that is doable jump to 7500 and then 10000. You started with too high a goal.

I had a white chocolate bar with nuts last night. I had been saving it since Xmas. The victory- I gave a row to my son rather than eating the whole thing.

60 minute walk today 30 min x 2 Goal: To wear my misfit again and make my target on it.

and if you are running 5 k it is ok to do a run and weights on same day. Or run in am and lift in evening or whatever.

30 minute walk to an apt. and 30 minutes back in a cold wind!

Bundle the kid up and pull them in a sled or wagon for up to 30 minutes.

You can train for endurance or speed and even take them to spin classes for the pros. I ride lightly at home and watch netflix at the moment-but have gone to classes where we all brought our bikes and trainers.
