I have my first personal training session tonight! I am beyond excited!30

I recently did a spin class, I was worried that I wouldn't be fit enough to complete the class, I found it easy - yay!30

I work nights, usually on my first night back I try and stay up late the night before and sleep all day before working (I’m one of those people who need their sleep).
Today I decided to go to bed earlier last night and wake up and go to a class at the gym this morning so I could get a good workout in, instead of just a marathon of sleep.38 -
I was talking yoga leggings with a neighbor. I got my $10 super stretchy ones on amazon and they’re real loose now. She got her cute ones at TJ Maxx. I was kinda down and then I thought, wtf, I don’t have to wear XXLs anymore and I immediately bundled my hind end down to TJM and bought a couple of pair and a few cute shirts- in smalls and mediums. AND I found a super cute “goal” dress. I’m hanging that pencil thin dress front and center in the closet for
motivation. I can get it on but I can’t zip it. YET. I’ll be back for that NSV.46 -
Had my first cheat day today since October 2018,where I went over calories. (I was even under on Christmas day). Was tuna pasta mayo of all things, hot cross buns and apple juice. Don't have the energy to exercise but I will make myself do it.15

Congratulations!! Can't wait for that to happen to me7 -
Bought 3 new bathing suits for my trip, they are bikini’s and despite my stretch marks and a bit of loose skin ( that has tightened up significantly this past year but still a bit left ) I am going to wear them on the beach!!
It has been 15 yrs since I last wore a two piece!47 -
My work pants are feeling a lot more loose, even after only two weeks, AND after eating a big lunch.19

For the first time in my entire adult life I fit in a size medium dress! I bought 3 to use as goal dresses but decided to try them on just to see how far I had to go and they all slipped on with ease.
Needless to say, I was pretty jazzed about it.

I can jump! Like both feet in the air at the same time. I couldn’t do that 60 pounds ago. I looked at my trainer like she had lost her darn mind the first time she asked me to jump. It’s been a funny process having to relearn to jump at 42, I’m pretty sure it’s been 30yrs since I had both feet off the ground.48

I fit back into a suit that I last wore 10 years ago.31

My wedding dress. I can *almost* zip it up the whole way, but as my daughter pointed out, I was 18 when I got married, so...
Maybe these last 7lbs will do the trick. (Or maybe I’m okay with not being 18 anymore. Yeah. Definitely okay with that. Lol)

I didn't snack for the past 3 night. Not because I had to use all the will power and self-control, plus reserves, to stop me, but I just didn't feel hungry. I have upped my protein for the past 3 days. And what an immediate result!
At my PT session, my PT was very impressed with my technique. So much so he had to rethink my program because he said it was far too easy and I am no way a beginner! YEAH!37 -
I can stand on my tippy toes again. Even on one foot 🎉🎊🎉🎊30

I stayed under my calories yesterday!! I’m so proud of myself. It’s the little things that make big changes.38

finally convinced myself to get rid of my super baggy dress shirts that used to fit snug. it was starting to look really bad. god some smaller size ones cheep at a 2nd hand store, but took some time to convince myself i no longer needed the large size shirts.

I increased my duration and speed on the treadmill this morning. New high for me. I did 2 miles, not fast by any stretch of the imagination, but I continually ran! I never thought it was possible..now to get down below 10 minute miles43

1st time doing UNASSISTED dips! Woohoo!
I tried dips for the 1st time ever mid-December, with 40# assist.
Slowly I incorporated them into my routine, working down 5# of assistance each time.
I actually did 3x3 of unassisted dips yesterday, because I messed up the first 2 videos.

Saved a bunch of calories yesterday for a planned high-cal treat at the end of the day, then didn't even eat as much of it as I planned and came in well under goal!33

I have a job interview tomorrow but none of my dressy clothes fit so I needed to go shopping today. Everything I ended up buying is a medium! I can’t remember the last time I felt so confident in a dressing room. Instead of just thinking “Oh this will do I guess” I genuinely love everything I bought and feel really confident about myself in them.

You will walk in that interview with so much confidence!
Good Luck.11 -
I went to talk to a trainer at a barbell gym today. Explained via email and phone I’d lost some weight, everything jiggles and needed to tone up. When I walked in she was stunned, said “you aren’t at ALL what I expected! You’ve done this thing right!” And then proceeded to tell me I have the body of an athlete. I couldn’t believe it and kept thanking her. This is the gym where the SWAT team trains. She wasn’t just blowing air up by *kitten* either. I think, lol! I’m stoked and ready to start NOW!42

Eek! I had an interview today and my skirt was way too big but didn't realise until the day before lol
Hope I didn't blow it by looking unkempt!
Good luck with yours!! Xx15 -
I pulled down my jeans - still zipped and buttoned - without thinking, thinking for some reason that I was wearing tights. They came right off! I tried that with another pair of jeans and the same thing happened!33

I'm only down 13 lbs so far, so I didn't think there would be any noticeable changes yet. But I went to Torrid, and suddenly all my shirts are a 0 (XL) instead of a 1 (2X) now. Which means one more size down, and I can't shop there anymore!

I attended yoga today. That is 2x this week-something I have not been able to do (for other health reasons) since the fall.28

Logged even while feeling under the weather which is a big accomplishment for me! I tend to overeat when sick which is like the opposite of everyone else I realize (I think it's about trying to find something to help me feel better and I go to food first!). Kept it on the healthier side and feeling better now and ready to work.26
