Lol, true. Don't forget the "chewing gum calories". :-(

I believe that the minimum guidelines for men are 1500 and women are 1250 per day, likely putting you in the latter category We need more information like your age, gender, height, body fat percentage, activity level to estimate your TDEE 1000 should do the trick to at least lose a pound per week, unless you are…

I begin with an Asian buffet (sushi and teriyaki; putting away about 3000-4000 calories) and then finish it off in a couple of hours with some sweet treats (ice cream, doughnuts, croissant, etc. - another 1000-2000 calories). Sometimes I get tired of it and do a pizza AYCE or a Russian buffet instead - same approach really…

From yesterday: https://imgur.com/a/jVI7yLu 6000 maximum. Begun at lunch. Honestly, was expecting more but was stuffed, although plenty of salads. Any tips to improve the experience? Start eating earlier in the day?

Correct - a BMI of 16.1. Likely, that person is a woman and there is a tendency to be underweight, just because most of the models are (at least they get paid for it).

Nice! Personally, it takes me about an hour to hit 5000 steps (with about 200 calories burned) - how do you even hit 50000 steps is beyond me (would be an extra 2000 calories for me); congratulations!

I feel like I am under-eating then! Nice one, guys. I got to up my calories. :-)

Good points. Therefore, 1/3 of the surplus going into fat and burning 3/4 of the weight in fat on deficit sounds correct? Example: TDEE: 2500 Cheat-day: 7500 (5000 surplus - 1/3 (~1700) goes into fat = ~0.5 pounds) Cut for 6 days at 2000 (500 deficit * 6 days = 3000 deficit; 75% (2250) is fat burned = ~0.6 pounds) Lose 0.1…

There's some level present as well but I believe that sometimes women are having more pressure being applied onto them unfairly. Personally, when there's more pressure in my life I would be more likely to prioritize solving them rather than being perfect with my diet.

Like it's been said, the majority of the diet is bad (processed carbs, bad fats, little complete protein) - which causes people to overeat. On top of that, liquid calories, excess salt, alcohol - other reasons to overeat. As well as social pressures, fat acceptance, etc. Not everyone can follow an intuitive eating approach…

Go hard but don't push the limits. I went from 200 to 135 (pounds) at a 1000 deficit, losing almost a kg per week. Anything more, given a busy life, may cause a backfire, given that you have lost it before but back up on the scale (although I understand that it can be more difficult as a woman, given emotions and…

One of the experiences is feeling slightly bloated, with some nasty gasses being released, and this is after somewhat extreme levels (eating 300+ grams on a cheat day). I doubt that the majority are EASILY hitting 200+ per day, therefore it is really not an issue - if you are hitting these numbers anyway, it is then likely…

Hate to be ignorant but I am not sure how does the medication cause "real" weight gain. In my understanding, it is the calories which cause weight gain (through increasing the body fat due to the excess surplus); otherwise it is just water weight/being bloated (like after the cheat-day - due to carbs/salt/etc.). If so,…

After a further search, using self.com and usda.gov, it seems that the caffeine content is about 30mg per 1g of product. Another interesting thing - each tablespoon of coffee is listed as 1g, likely due to its light weight, with 2 5cc scoops should then equating to 2g (60mg of caffeine). Although there are a couple of…

Very good points everyone, very helpful and means a lot. Considering I am near my goal weight I am fine with somewhat a lower deficit. Finally, I had this today: https://imgur.com/a/PkwnfOd Calories are just an estimation but should be decent. Wanted to hit about 4-4.5K today as the next cheat-day is this Sunday but oh…

Thanks, everyone. I agree that it is still necessary to be wary of any tool being used, appreciated! Don't have any recent pictures, as I am bloated after a cheat-day today but this is me a couple of days after the cheat-day last week: https://imgur.com/a/rCPlHxq I have to agree, 10% seems more closer than below. Cheers

What would you say are the best things to eat to minimize the fat gain? I was thinking lean protein, followed up by healthy carbohydrates - to begin with salad, eat some meat and finish with grains.

Recomp at the lowest possible healthy weight. Need low bf for the job

24, 5'10", 135lbs, 8% bf, 5 more lbs, 29" waist. Thanks

Hey. Thanks for the replies. Since getting close to my goal weight, I have such days nearly every five days for the last couple of weeks - feel much better but the weight loss reduced from two pounds per week to like 0.5
