  • Coming back to this to motivate myself to start yet again. Had another death in the family over the 4th of July weekend. Feels like every time I try to get back on track, something else happens. Please, please, just give me a few uneventful months.
  • I love to eat salads but I hate making them - so much prep! This is my favorite salad when I feel like putting in the effort - the dressing is AMAZING: https://minimalistbaker.com/roasted-vegetable-salad-with-chimichurri/
  • Mini Reese's cups are 44 calories each. I usually eat two a day for a very satisfying dessert.
  • I would eat it in small pieces, making sure to fit it into my daily calorie plan.

  • Left to my own devices, I'll snack all day long and never eat anything resembling a proper meal. I could literally never stop snacking. When I switched to eating actual meals, which I would define as larger portions of prepared food that include some significant amount of protein, I noticed a huge change. Instead of…

Usually this time of year it's snowing and freezing in Ohio, but yesterday was like spring - sunny and 60 degrees. It definitely felt different not starting out cold. Not bad, just…
  • 2/1 - C25K week 4, day 2 complete I ran a total of 16 minutes, my knees don't hurt, and I got to pet a super fluffy dog. I call that a good day!
  • I ran for 5 minutes without stopping to walk today. That's a victory for me for sure!
  • @emmamcgarity @katharmonic @SchweddyGirl @marisap2010 Thank you all for the warm welcome! I've been doing a lot of reading here and on r/running, and everyone seems so supportive and helpful. Very excited to be joining such a great community!
  • Hello all! I am a new runner, getting ready to start Week 4 of C25K. My goal is to continue the program as written. I should be almost through it by the end of February!
  • I love it, personally. I can't eat dairy, so I'm used to coconut milk versions of ice cream anyway, and I think some of the vegan flavors are very good. I particularly like the cookie dough, candy bar, and salted caramel flavors. I actually like that it's not AMAZINGLY delicious. It's good enough that it satisfies my…
  • I had to quit all caffeine when I was 18 because it caused horrible stomach pain. As soon as I quit, the pain went away. It's a little weird to be completely caffeine free when 99% of people seem to be drinking it all the time, but honestly after all these years I don't miss it. I drink herbal tea when I want something hot…
  • The biggest small change for me was eating actual meals. Left to my own devices, I'll snack all day long and never eat something that resembles a substantive meal. That would be fine if I was snacking on nutritious foods, but nope - Doritos and ice cream were my favorites. Now that I've started to focus on eating at least…
  • It's too expensive for me to use regularly, but I'll order a box when they offer discounts. I like it a lot! I feel like it helps me get more variety in my diet. Left to my own devices, I tend to make the same things over and over. It's also really nice to have the nutritional info already calculated rather than having to…
