There can be an argument made for doing it a week or two every four to six weeks. To stop your metabolism slowing down. Some far more experienced or educated than me may care to comment.

The FDA has the least strict rules about coffee hence you get the coffee rejected by Europe most is Asia and Australia. Yes I have drunk it. I was a soldier and deployed OS and eat and drank in American messes. Battery acid is more apt.

In the interests of wrapping up and not derailing I’m inclined to disagree with you. Suger is nasty stuff and can play with your metabolism. Fasting also give the body time to heal and not continuously have to process food. Best of luck to you.

Hesitant to comment to much as it sounds like you need to seek medical advise. But I’m confident suggesting you should cut as much processed/added suger out if you diet and throw in some intermittent fasting. No more than 14 hours though.

Update Struggling with Potassium levels, so getting that potassium salt to help boost it up. Your body. You learn by mistakes more so than successes. Give it a crack. As a general rule if you are sore for more than 2 days you have over done it. Body is more resilient than most people think.

Old thread but I have had amazing results with a cyclic keto diet when I was in the Army. It was coupled with an intense weight lifting program as well.
