  • I want to know how I sign up for the plan?
  • A doctor told there was such a thing as the COVID-19 weight gain. They actually saw people gain about 19 to 20 lbs on the average. Apparently very similar to the weight college freshmen gain. You are certainly not alone and I hope you feel good about your progress. I went through similar except my was "helped" through my…
  • I will be blunt and hope not to offend. I suggest that you get some professional - psychological and nutritional help.
  • I think it is good that you know yourself and what triggers your eating. I would recommend that if other measures such as fit of clothes and overall health are good you might want to skip the scale at first. Then when the clothes fit better get a verification from the scale and give your self a pat on the back.
  • Another fad going around again. I tried it once and agree - it is awful and not worth it. No short cuts for me. Also not really proven in spite of the hype.
  • It will change depending on any number of factors including your monthly period. As long as you are in an acceptable range do not worry. Just keep track and adjust when you get too high or low.
  • Yes. I know WW generally does not. I do not mind if I go over carbs if it is mostly veggies, but yes you do need to record them to make sure you are getting enough calories. Also veggies have fiber.
  • "If at first you do not succeed, try again." Find a real motive besides what "they" say. Mine was my knees hurting because of the extra weight. A hospital visit for another issue "helped" me lose 4 lbs. and I regained 1.5 and finally I said - they is stupid. I am to keep going so I rejoined. I set reasonable goals and so…
  • I am with some of the other commentators. Learn to like who you are. Stop comparing. Decide on what you want and improve for yourself. You will always find someone who you perceive to be better looking, accomplished, etc. Except they are not and you will find they are comparing themselves to someone else. Do some personal…
  • April start wt: 184 April Goal wt: 180 - 1 pound a week, probably will be a total of 5 lbs. April 1: April 8: April 15: April 22: April 29:
  • I bought the hype and thought it really might be different now. I found I was looking at a screen designed for a 7 year old who likes to read picture books. No way to make screen smaller (tech help said). Very slow to scroll down if putting in dinner meal. Also data base is slow and inadequate compared to this data base.…
  • I interpreted the report as saying be careful if you are concerned about cholesterol. Some people are and some are not - depends on overall eating habits and genetics. I do have to watch it but eat only 4 eggs a week. Looking at personal examples such as a 117 year old woman is not applicable. You need to know your own…

  • My reaction is that the research study is too small. Needs more participants.
  • Keep looking for good recipes and keep trying. Check out UTube and other free on line recipes. I make chicken breasts in a pan - medium heat with a little olive oil and simmered so they do not dry out and add one of several spice blends I have on hand. We like a pineapple curry spice blend or add a little Italian herbs. I…
  • Possible I suppose but look how it also affects your gut. Too much fruit (I love it) sends me to bathroom too much.
  • I do not really pay all that attention to going over carbs if the carbs is a vegetable. On other diets - WW for instance - they count little of nothing. Veggies offer good source of vitamins, fiber, etc. Just do not eat fried veggies or pour heavy sauce over them. note: I have the same issue because I eat a high fiber…
