My weigh-in day is Friday--I didn't worry about tracking (or what I ate) for the last day and a half--but I didn't go too far off the rails, either, I don't think. At least I have the rest of the week to undo any damage.

I'm back today--was sick for the last day and a half; feeling better now.

@Flintwinch: That's great that your focus on healthy eating following AHA advice works well for you. Healthy eating has got to be an individual choice. When I was up to 285 lbs., I was a heart attack waiting to happen. At 268, when I really got serious, the version of Weight Watchers (at the time) was the Momentum…

Cool! Starting Weight--July 10, 2020--- 200.6

I missed this challenge--wasn't watching the message boards. If we do this again, I'm in! Are we going to start another ten-pound rotation with this challenge is over?

200.6 (skivvy weight). So close to the gates of Onederland that I can almost hear the language being spoken on the street! :-) Gonna try to cross the border this week!

Hey, y'all!

I agree, you have to do what works for YOU--what fits your lifestyle, your satisfaction triggers--nobody is going to put up with being forced into a pigeon hole that they don't want to be in for the long haul. Just for perspective, that one apple fritter I ate was about a fourth of my calories for the day-I was well-able…

Troy's here and on track!

Good morning, Guys!

Troy's here!

Two things I've been learning about myself since I've started counting calories with MFP: 1) I don't have to eat full-blown meals just because it's mealtime. If just a little bite of something will suffice and I'm really not hungry for more, that's okay, it's not like "it's now or never", and 2) (big discovery) If I eat…

Ah, Friday! I allot extra calories for the weekend, but honestly, I've been so satisfied, I probably won't need them.

Troy's here... better late than never!

Sorry to hear what you're going through, Man... it's rough losing your parents.

I teach Spanish at a public high school. This started out as spring break, but then the state board of education canceled classes for two weeks and dozens of events got canceled due to this Wuhan virus hysteria. I am all in favor of taking reasonable precautions... but the operative word there is "reasonable". Here in…

Good morning! Just found out I'm not going back to work for two more weeks after Spring Break!

I was on TRT for quite some time. Estrogen is stored in fat... and that made my estrogen high (for a male), plus my testosterone was low. Both problems resolved when I lost 90 lbs. I've regained some of that, but my T levels remain good. Part of that involves other lifestyle/ habit changes as well.

No. HYE eaten raw oysters (and if so, did you like them)?

I'm here!

Mouthwatering. I WISH I didn't have a sweet tooth and that I wasn't so delighted by these things (but I am... and YES, they're worth the calories for me). My challenge is to responsibly limit my consumption... I'm not going to give them up entirely.

Hey, SteveO, remind me what the three numbers mean... current weight/lowest weight/goal weight? It's been awhile....
-
Present, and in control! Spring break started early at the school where I teach, so I've actually got a day to get caught up.

I'm here!

Troy's here... looking forward to living the lifestyle on Wednesday: another day to faithfully track, another day for me (and not whims or appetites) to decide what to put into my body. I'm in charge.

Present and accounted for this morning... plan to make it a good day, staying on target. We have parent- teacher conferences tonight--- there will be treats in the teachers' room....<moderation and self- control WILL happen>!
-
It would really be nice if you could set up the challenge in a way that accommodates guys who aren't on WW. I love the idea of a group of guys holding one another accountable, but what about those whose system is built around MFP targets instead of Smartpoints?

Here on Monday... just now saw the thread.
