Next “decade”goal is 220, to hit by next doctor appointment on 10/31/23. Can’t wait to see her face! SW 279 CW 225 UGW 150-160 Trying to think of a good reward for this mini-goal. Maybe a facial. I have been rewarding myself along the way with mani-pedis, and new workout clothes/gear. I’m buying used clothes on eBay, don’t…

Way to go! What has helped you most on your fitness journey?

Down 3 sizes of jeans, was 26W, now fitting easily into 20W. Happy with progress so far, and will be even happier when I no longer need to wear plus sizes…

Glad you are with us! I started out a few months ago and just focused first on logging my food and drinking enough water. These two things really helped me a lot , along with some new walking shoes! We are in this journey together. Hugs

Welcome! A lot of us are in the same boat. I’m working on increasing my protein, that helps curb my appetite. I also got rid of all my fast food and food delivery apps! Slow and steady is the key to success. The community is great, post any questions and you should get a lot of support. Hugs.

“The Obesity Guide” with Dr. Matthea Rentea is really good. She is an MD board certified in internal medicine and obesity treatment. She had also had a lifetime struggle with her own weight, so she gets it! Podcasts cover latest research and science, as well as lots of motivational information.

Like a lot of you, focusing on 10 lbs at a time. Just got under 240, so now working toward 230. Haven’t decided on 230 reward just yet, but I know it will NOT be food related 😁.

Putting socks and (walking) shoes on this morning: Noticed that I no longer need to gyrate around with huffing and puffing. Able to easily bend over and get them on with minimal effort. This a little thing that is HUGE for me .

I too am tired of males who friend me on the app, and then get creepy flirty or very personal. I tell them Im only interested in discussing health food and fitness topics and that I’m happily married. If the weirdness continues, I unfriend them. A tellltale sign is when a member doesn’t share their diary.

I am much stronger and more flexible. Was able to vaccum and detail the inside of my car with minimal effort, and no back pain!!! Previously, I have paid huge amounts of money to have my car detailed. Saving money for new walking shoes!!!

Welcome @jckp0714! Suggest best way to get started is to start logging your food in the “diary”. Also, at bottom of screen you should see “Plans”: scroll down to “MyfFitness Pal 101”. This will give you daily tips on how to use the app, especially shortcuts on how to log food. . I found lit super-helpful when I started.…
