    Welcome! A lot of us are in the same boat. I’m working on increasing my protein, that helps curb my appetite. I also got rid of all my fast food and food delivery apps! Slow and steady is the key to success. The community is great, post any questions and you should get a lot of support. Hugs.

    Welcome. Fellow T2 diabetic here.

    Past 9 months I've lost 50 pounds and reduced diabetes meds. Looking to get off one completely and be on metformin only next doc appointment.

    Don't bother with quick or drastic diets. Change slower and form better habits. Find a fitness activity you enjoy (I never thought I'd enjoy cycling but after a HIIT class I was hooked despite being 270 lbs and barely able to walk afterwards). Make a meal plan and stick to it, personally I just eat balanced and now carb cycle 2 days a week to go with high intensity exercise. Try different things -- you can do it!
