How about 'shrunk into' or 'shrunk out of'

Hello everyone, I have 72lbs to lose and I've started well so far, losing 7lbs. I'm keen to keep it going. Reading through the comments above and I know the feeling. The non scale victories are the best ones. I was able to tighten my belt hole to the 2nd before last rather than the last one this morning. I'm finding that…

How is everyone doing 3 days later? What has everyone found to be good support/motivation on MFP so far?

How is everyone doing with their diets? Any major progress/goals hit/habits maintained or developed? And more importantly how is motivation? Is everyone still staying strong going into the weekend?

I'm 27, I've lost 8lbs. Still got another 64lbs to go. Happy for you all to add me. I keep my diary open and enjoy interacting on MFP

I wear a Huawei watch that has a heart rate monitor. This is from a recent 45 minute spin class I did. I'm unsure if weight has an impact on calories burnt whilst cycling on a static bike

That's great to hear. In my experience, unwinding at the end of the day often means a snack or two that's often got sugar. Having your wife on board must be great. I often get asked by my wife if I can have some but over time she has also become supportive of it and actively supports me by putting away the unhealthy foods…

Because after about 2 weeks of doing it the headaches stop. I think it's probably my body getting used to the different pattern of eating. I understand that it doesn't provide magic but it helps me stay within my calories goal for the day if I have a cut off. It also helps me avoid having unhealthy snacks in the evenings…

I had a similar experience with keto and I'm sure many other people have had the same. I didn't feel like it taught me or got me in the habit of having good portion sizes which is what I think my problem has always been. It just shifted me from having mostly processed foods to mostly non processed foods(apart from a few…

I'm currently in a similar position to you when you started. I'm 185cm and started at 122kg and working my way down. I've sent you a request. Maybe you can help me with my weight loss too.

Yes that's fine. Good luck

I've had a Huawei Band Pro 3 for a few months, it's got inbuilt GPS so don't need to use my phone when going cycling/walking/running. It's also got a HR monitor and uses that during exercise too. I have found it to be much cheaper than the other fitbit brands. The only downside is that it only works with the Huawei health…

I'm currently doing IF with 15:9 I usually stop eating by 5/6pm and restart at about 8/9am. Waking up with a headache and trying to drag myself out of bed is the least favourite part for me.

Hello and welcome. When I first started I stopped using it after a few weeks just because it was overwhelming. I would recommend just starting to log EVERYTHING you eat. If it's got a bar code or comes out of a packet, just scan it or input the information along with the amount you've had. If it doesn't just search for it…

Hi Andrew, I'm the same with takeaways. I currently have rough macro targets but I have been prioritising the total calorie goal. For me being able to eat a reasonable portion size is a habit that I'm trying to develop. Happy for you to add me as a freind.

For me it's all interlinked. If I'm eating well and exercising for a few days in a row, I feel much more confident about stepping on the scale and look forward to it. The more I see the numbers going in the right direction the more regularly I step on the scale. However I do not keep scales at my house to stop my scale…

So currently I stop eating at 5/6pm because after this time is usually when pizza/junk food gets ordered to the house by family that I live with. I then have breakfast again at whatever time I wake up. I aim to limit my calorie intake to 2200 calories but don't stress too much if I go over this. My biggest weakness is…

Earlier this year I started keto after getting fed up with my belt buckle getting too tight and digging into me. I refused to buy more 'big clothes' and started keto out of frustration. The rate of weightloss was amazing, I rarely used to feel hungry and the amount of cheese I could eat and still lose weight was…

Forgot to mention, I'm happy for those with the same goals to add me

Hello I am also looking to lose 70lbs after gaining it over several years. I have had a few false starts in my quest to do so. This time I plan to log everything daily over at least 100 days no matter what I eat. I'm happy for you to add me as a freind.

Hello, I'm 27 and trying to lose 70lbs after reaching 272lbs. I have been logging for the past week or so and happy to be added to motivation groups to keep going and for encouragement.
