I have ibs and I'm learning what my trigger foods are. Some of them are really good foods, but when I want them I just remind myself what happens when I eat them.

I'm on team look up the menu beforehand. I'm pretty proud of myself for finding filling foods at almost any restaurant for 500-800 calories. Grilled chicken, veggies/salads with no dressing, and fruit tend to be my go tos.

I overeat if I skip breakfast or have foods that don't keep me full. Due to this almost every morning I have two eggs and oatmeal. Keeps me full until lunch!

I'm a breastfeeding momma too! Almost 6 months postpartum and have now lost 15 pounds. Started with gaining too.

You got this!

Mindset is wrong. Weight fluctuations are 100% normal. You need to watch it as a trend, which means some days it will go up and some days it will go down.
-
Just keep going. Use this for motivation and see where you are a couple months from now. :) You got this!

I personally would go with the lower calorie one. Just to underestimate.

Like cmriverside said, it really depends on your goals. If your goal is to lose weight, then eating real food, but that has lower calories, will probably be better than a shake.

Veggie stir fry with lots of low calorie veggies. Salad loaded with veggies. Soup/stew loaded with veggies.

You can have a lot of good veggies for little calories. Then you are having real food for your snacks.

I make recipes for everything I make and label it like "spaghetti 5-29-20". Then I'll make the servings the total amount of grams the finished dish is. That way I can easily determine how many calories for my portion.

Yeah, it is kinda funny that people "disagree" with my personal experience. Lol, it doesn't change what I'm going to do and I hope they found what works for them!

I will be the odd one here. I have been using weight watchers for about two weeks now and lost a healthy amount of weight. I joined to be motivated to eat better foods. It's encouraging me to eat healthier things such as veggies, fruits, and lean meats. I still eat a lot of the foods I did previously, just more in…

I'd love to be your friend! My daughter is 3 months and I'm also one of those that holds the weight while breastfeeding. So annoying.
-
I'd love more friends! I'm currently 260, just had a baby, and eventually want to be down to 160, but right now my mini goal is 230. I also love Harry Potter and dogs! I feel I am a fellow Hufflepuff and have a yellow lab who is three. :)
-
Feel free to add me. I plan to be on here daily with an update on my journey and giving encouragement to my friends. :)

I have one kid and trying to lose weight for her! I would love active friends on myfitnesspal!

I'm from Iowa. I just had a baby three months ago, so she is why I want to finally get fit. I plan to be active and also am looking for active friends who like motivating each other! My weakness is eating out! I love not having to worry about cooking or clean up. One of my mini goals is to stop eating out so much.
-
I'm just starting back up again today too! My goals are to log everything, drink more water, and take a walk with the dog every night after putting the baby to bed! Feel free to add me as a friend so we can motivate each other in our goals!

You can do this from your profile.
