I've gained 10 in the last month. Eating late night while watching TV is killing me.

I understand your pain. A couple of years ago I blew out all 4 of my lumbar IV discs. Neurosurgeon insisted on taking the "conservative surgery approach" and did microdiscectomies, that helped some, but the discs and vertebrae continued to degenerate. 4 surgeries and 2 years later I was worse then when he started. Finally,…

Late night eating (10pm on) is what's killing my diet. I exercise in the afternoon, and I eat dinner about 7:30, but after watching TV for a couple of hours, I'm hungry again. I'm still recovering from back surgery and walking is still unstable and painful, otherwise I would go for a walk around the neighborhood.

Time to get back on the diet, seriously...........

I went through most of my life thinking facade was pronounced faa-kade.

My house is a 1300 sq ft cottage built in 1939, part of the 1st subdivision in the city of Augusta, GA. The washer and dryer are in the kitchen and it's really the only place for them without adding on. These old houses were well built, with red oak floors (yellow pine in the kitchen), sunporches, real plaster walls and…

My trusty Panasonic Genius Premier 1000W has been going for over 20 years and works perfectly. I don't think I have even had to change the light bulb, well maybe once.

Any electronic scale is going to have inaccuracy, unless it costs thousands of dollars. A mechanical balance scale is the only accurate, economical scale. But everybody already knew that.

Me. Except it's more like 30 seconds. I don't like walking in the rain, so I force myself to get on the climber I have in my home exercise room. Music doesn't help, TV doesn't help. I'm thinking of hiring someone to dangle a doughnut on a pole and string in front of my nose while I'm on it.

I had a heavy bag for years and I thought it was a great fitness tool, but it took up so much room that I finally gave it to the local boxing club. I took a few "white collar boxing" classes there, and watching those kids pound each other scared me!

Getting ready to go somewhere, and being able to find my purse, car keys, cell phone, and driving glasses without a whole-house search.

I bought a Withings Move on Amazon warehouse for $66 (box was damaged) and it tracks steps, sleep, looks good, and tells time!
-
Please be careful!! I carry a cell phone in one hand and a collapsible baton in the other when I'm walking, but I trust hardly anyone. :#

SO brought home a box of Do-Si-Does. I resisted!!!! For an hour and a half. :'(

I buy Capris on Amazon. Super stretchy, durable, and comfy. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B071CW5795/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Pair of Huskies I had back in the 70s and 80s: Nikki and Tasha, check out the state of the art flea collars! LOL! The fleas laughed too.

Somehow a box of Do-Si-Dos ended up in my cupboard...................

Only gained 0.2 pound on Valentine's Day, despite the presence, and then absence, of Godiva chocolates! I consider that a success.

My M3 has one of the stiffest clutches I have ever used, and I've driven a lot of cars on the track. I couldn't drive the thing for 6 months after my last back surgery, but the way it takes corners makes up for it.

Those eyes!, Those lips!!, That complexion!!!! <3 Happy Valentines Day

My walk last evening was my longest and least painful. I had 3 spinal surgeries last year, so it has been a slow, painful process. Down 38, 20 to go.

Run To You, mostly because I'm trying to learn to sing it. Miss you, Whitney. :'(

It's so hot and humid here in GA in summer that walking outdoors is misery. I love this time of year except for the rain. This evening I walked in Capris and T shirt; it was marvelous.

You're tall, so 135 would be very thin, IMO. I'm 5'8", currently 171, trying to get to 150. Please add me if you want.

I drove the Porsche today just to make the BMW jealous. :p
-
Remember, you asked for it! I don't have any selfies, but this is what I wore to my singing lesson today...Oh, God...I'm going to regret this.....

In my last job (supervisor), one particular employee would race in every morning 5 minutes before his shift was due to start, go in the men's room, drop a huge bomb, try to flush and about half the time it wouldn't. Sometimes he would tell me, sometimes he wouldn't. Either way, eventually I had to deal with it.

Sadly, I am dog-less for the 1st time in many, many years. This is Honey, who came to my Vet clinic as a very sick puppy, and ended up living with me for 15 years.
