Victim blaming.
Doctor prescribes too much of an opioid medication and the patient becomes hooked. Then the doctor doesn't have a plan for getting the patient off the meds, so the patient turns to street drugs to soothe their addiction.
Eventually the person is kicked to the curb by society because there is no help for them to get off the meds. Insurance doesn't cover rehab, or methadone or the lost wages from taking time off to recover from addiction.
It's bullcrap and and American adults are dying from LEGAL drug addiction every day.
Next time you see a used hypodermic needle on the ground, don't get mad at the addict. Get mad at Purdue Pharma and the Sackler family. They are who brought this whole problem in the first place!8 -

What’s reason for the cry - Is there a time where a cry is reasonable and said cryer is given a pass?? Say they found out a close family member died ?? Or should all crying be held until said coworker has exited the building ??3 -

Using the thumbs up as an affirming gesture.
There's even an emoji for it, despite it not being universal. It is actually akin to raising your middle finger in many different countries.5 -

In my last job (supervisor), one particular employee would race in every morning 5 minutes before his shift was due to start, go in the men's room, drop a huge bomb, try to flush and about half the time it wouldn't. Sometimes he would tell me, sometimes he wouldn't. Either way, eventually I had to deal with it.2 -

Some animals display more 'human' qualities than actual humans.
I remember I was once extremely down. Like. Depressed down. I was with supposed 'family members' who were partly the reason I was feeling that way. Guess what?
A dog came over and gave me a hug. Go figure. Humans can be really cruel. I treat my fur babies like human kids based on the fact they give me unconditional love. You can count on animals. People, not so much. 🐱💖
And some animals kill people. Dogs are one of the most dangerous animals on the planet, mostly because of strays with rabies in developing countries, who bite children, who then die from rabies. Some animals cannibalise their own offspring, including cats and dogs. Animal parents often abandon their offspring. Chimpanzees and some other primates kill just for fun, leaving bodies uneaten. A lot of dogs will do this, too, since they have a hunting instinct - cats as well, will kill birds for fun rather than for food. I love cats, but they're decimating native species. People go on and on about how 'animals are better parents' or 'animals are more compassionate' but it's just not true. Yeah, we wage war against each other, but animals absolutely would do the same thing if they had the means to. Hell, rival chimpanzee troupes will often battle each other, stealing the babies of the other troupe to cannibalise them. They don't need to do that for food. They do it because they know it hurts the other troupe. Nature is absolutely brutal.
In short, can I add 'people who blindly think animals are perfect' onto this list?6 -

Yeah nature is brutal and life is tough and not fair......but, im not bringing a chimpanzee troupe in my house, and my dogs arent killing anybody. Neither are my cats, or my ducks and geese. Point being, you can observe lifes brutality in all aspects and still love that what surrounds you. Whether it be a person or an animal. And the fact that my dogs cannot rise up and war against others.....even if they would if they could.....means i get them as at their best, a fun loving companion that works well as a soothing calm distraction when needed sometimes.
I know all about brutality, the good thing is there is also many cases of direct opposite of that. Its what you choose to focus on i think what matters.10 -

People who value animals over humans. Bury a child and your perspective on that is likely to change.9
