Thank you for your thoughtful response @AnnPT77 Those are all good strategies to consider. I have lost 50lbs before in 2020, but my goal was 100 and now 25 has crept back on. It’s part of the discouragement, knowing how hard it was the first time and knowing I have to do it again. Another difficulty is my work days and…

I do, but I’m doing it on a consistency basis. Right now, my focus is on establishing exercise routines into my days. Weekly I work towards a reward and every 4 weeks I make it a bigger reward. Example: Week 1 44oz “refresher” from our local soda shop (fun flavored water) Week 2 nail polish Week 3 a sticker for my water…

Rona finally got me :-( My NSV is that I’m not going to let it derail my exercise goals and will instead just scale back to some simple yoga today

Thanks for responding! I’ll check it out :-)

Thanks, that’s probably a better way to tackle things. I’ll look into that video! I will say that the program aspect that builds on itself without me having to figure it out is appealing to me, so that’s why SWEAT caught my eye.

Thanks, I’ll check it out! I thought about doing a bunch of free trials of apps to see if any click for me. But I also like committing to something so I can have consistency and can track change. I probably need to look at the bigger picture though and not worry about change at the beginning and instead focus on finding…

Thanks for your response! It’s all good insight. And it completely makes sense that what worked at 271lbs (my start weight) won’t be the same as 231lbs (my current weight). I think I need to really start committing to the fitness aspect. Now that I’ve cut down some weight and know the food routine, I think exercise needs…

Thank you for taking the time to respond! This was helpful. I’ve taken 1 week breaks in the past, but this time I just keep having a hard time restarting. I think a lot of it is things aligning poorly- stressful time at work+PMS+Easter holiday, things just kept colliding into the next with constant exhaustion on top of it…

Someone brought Crumbl cookies to work! I usually have 1/2 a cookie (they are HUGE) and today I had a 1/4 and felt completely satisfied and didn’t want more!!

I’m working at things at a slower pace. It’s working, but will say I sometimes get frustrated with the slower loss rate and I’m thinking I need to try and add exercise into the mix now. It’s just hard working full time and not being with my kids. I end up wanting to play with them rather than carve out exercise time. And…

Thank you for the response, it made me feel a little better. Those are all good suggestions and I'll give them a try. New month, new start.
