๐ A warm welcome all new 1st timers to the challenges and hi again to those returning for another month, another year๐
A new year a fresh slate
The first time I joined one of these was the best thing I ever done, lost 32 lb in 4 months. Itโs really nice to see how others are getting on and itโs a motivation to keep on track๐
Give yourself a motivation, this seems to work for me, maybe you have a break away booked, Many of us may be heading back to work after a looong break or even a getting ready for a wedding!
Pick your own goal, check in once per week and at the very end of the month. Let's keep encouraging each other & staying focused on our individual goals.
You can change the dates to suit you, but try to keep it weekly as it shows off the weekly progress better๐

Will put up my weights tomorrow, I never really focus on looking after me, my body, I see friends going to the gym, eating better, Iโm turning 40 this year and Iโd love to slim down and tone up for the summer, aim for that summer holiday, all achievable if I put my mind to it, I need to organise my time/ my life better x6

Ready to kick 2022 into high gear. Fell short of my goals in 2021 for weight loss and activity. Starting 2022 with a new mindset. First half marathon tomorrow so today will be a short easy run and maybe get in a bike ride.
Goals for my first week are to get 30 minutes of activity daily and track all of my foods. Even the BLTs (Bites, Licks, Tastes).

Hi,
This is the first challenge I have attempted on My Fitness Pal. I hit the big 60 six months ago and discovered that it is harder to lose weight then it has been in the past. Highest weight every 255.6.
I have been able to lose 8 pounds since September but it has been a struggle. I am hoping being accountable to others in this challenge will help me succeed. My first goal is to get below 200 lbs. I plan on doing that by eating 1,200 calories a day, increasing my protein intake and working out daily.
