If she’s overweight she is probably feeling insecure about you working to improve your health/how you look. I stopped drinking entirely. I replaced my evening wine with herbal teas and early nights. Boring I know but wine just leads me to snacking and then feeling sluggish the next day which affects exercise etc. It’s just not worth it for me
