Welcome, how’s your journey been so far, running I admire you I like the idea but then the weather gets the better of me and I resort back to indoors training. Roll on spring for the bike to come back out and maybe I’ll dust the running shoes off again.

@lisas6142 welcome to the community. Not divorced but understand what you mean about putting self first after some time. Did that in May this year after months of saying I’ll do it and now about 10kg lost (7 of which tracking on my fitness pal) good luck on your journey and if you fancy mutual motivation feel free to add…

Welcome. Firstly, it’s a marathon not a sprint, Second, if you weigh daily then some days it may not go down but up instead, but when it does it most likely not “fat added” but water retention due to things such as salts in yesterdays foods. Welcome to the app, use it to its potential but don’t just focus on daily macros as we all need a break/night out/ chill day from time to time remember to look at the week as a whole when reviewing progress/ macro tracking

Good luck on your journey ahead, always try and remember to keep goals bitesize and achievable, don’t think about where you want to be in months time but focus on what you want to achieve this week to build to wards that bigger goal.

For a few weeks take measurements of waist of waist and hips to see if they change also. (Can include thigh and biceps as well since they will go up with increased muscle mass although…
