I was a patrol sergeant in 2018 when I took that first pic. I was promoted to Lieutenant that same year. My rank is now displayed on my collar and not my sleeve in the form of a gold bar.
The pics being similar was a complete accident. I posted that first pic on mfp back in 2018. I snapped the second one in the court house just after finishing my last case for the day. I did not realize I was standing in virtually the same spot as I was back in 2018. 🤷♂️. But after noticing that I decided to post them together. 😁6 -

Haha I guess. The least stressful job I’ve had in this profession was being a regular patrol officer. Come in for 12 hours, deal with whatever the world tries to throw at you, do your reports, enter your evidence into the evidence vault and go home. Specialty units and rank can be fun but there’s more to it.2 -
