I like to tell people that I lost weight on the Butterfield Diet Plan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWgwJfbeCeU

You look really great. very similar start weight and body type to me so you are a huge inspiration! Well done x

I concur with the other posters; Enjoy your night out! Keep tabs on what you're eating/drinking and put it in your diary tomorrow. If you're still over (taking into account the rest of the week), just do some exercise to make up for it. I went a bit overboard on the red wine and chocolate last night, but after adding…

Say hi to the guy staring at you, have a friendly chat and you'll be able to work out why he was staring... and may not do it again!

Update: I got the NROLFW and it's full of great info. I will do the training program at some point, but it is rather complicated and I'm working on some basics first: -Squats -Deadlifts -Bench Press -Shoulder Press I asked the trainers in my gym with help on form and I was amazed how simple it is and how fun!! I also…

I feel your frustration, because I have been there. My advice is to play the long game and keep going. You may have gained for many reasons, probably water retention but keep going. Try to find something positive other than weight loss (Non Scale Victory, or NSV) so that when the scales aren't telling you what you want to…

Me too!! I lift, but haven't started the NROL yet. I live in Hampshire, but from Northern Ireland originally

Well done, you look fantastic :D

BUMP! I'm in the same position. Got the book at the weekend and now I'm scared!! I really want to start but I don't want to sabotage myself. I'm kind of leaning towards 'what i'm doing at the moment is working, so why change it?' I'll be interested to know what others think who have done NROLFW and btw, delmc1 and…

I'm not sure 2.2kg would do much, but chest presses from a gym ball and should presses would be good. I find that 2.2kg isn't heavy enough to give me a proper workout though..

I have asked for this for my birthday, which is on Sunday :blushing: here's hoping!

Thank you all for taking the time to respond! I'm SO excited about this and can't wait to be a powerhouse!!

The voice of reason! Ok, I'll do a bit of research first so I kinda know what I'm talking about first and then look for that guy quietly doing his workout.... I just hope my husband doesn't get jealous!
-
YES! THIS!

I'm sure they're not all judgemental, but I've heard a couple of the guys in my gym making letchy comments about the 'barbies with the pink dumbells' and that's put me off going near them!
-
LOL!!! Ok, so form is obviously important, but I need someone to show me, right? It doesn't seem to be the kind of thing you can get easily from a book.

BUMP Might need this soon!

II used to have a cheat day when I did WW because their whole system is set up to try and somehow cheat healthy eating (sweeteners, low fat yogurt, low cal this or that). Now I'm in the habit of having a healthy lifestyle and having everything in moderation/healthy ratio. So yeah, I have a couple of drinks at the weekend,…

140 calories! They're really rich and tasty. I'm not normally a big fan of brownies but these are great:smile:

Oh yeah! Thank you, I had missed that completely. Now I'm extra happy!!

Thanks for the support. I think it's because I've lost it is stages and plateaued in between/put a bit back on etc, but I've been working hard for a few months now and losing consistantly, so hopefully people will notice soon. Not that I need validation :blushing:

Thanks guys!

yes.. me! It's so frustrating! For me, part of it is that I was kidding myself that I was an 18 and squeezing into size 18 clothes. So now 18s either fit me or are a little too big, but still haven't actually dropped a size yet. I'm trying to worry about it and looking forward to the shopping spree when I do eventually get…

Hello! You can add me and we can support eachother!. I am a bit heavier than you by the sounds of it and I was 16st 4 at my heaviest. I've now lost 2st and about half-way to where I want to be. It sounds like you're doing really well so far. How long have you been on MFP?

Well done!!! Would you mind sharing your total loss? And any tips! You are such an inspiration!
