I started Atkins today, 1st "Induction day" lol. So far so good! I have a friend that lost 40 pounds with the Atkins lifestyle so I am really hoping to have similar success. Good luck to you!

When I first started working out I was getting them too. It was due to not breathing correctly and tensing up during workouts. Just pay attention to how you breathe, in through nose out through mouth helped me. Also, try to relax your neck and shoulders and see if that helps. :) Good luck!

Designer Whey protein powder is VERY good. My personal trainer recommended it to me and I love it not to mention it is pretty inexpensive. Lean Body shakes in "to go" packets are also very good.

My carbs are pretty high most of the time too. Everything has carbs in it though! An apple alone has like 30 or something crazy. As long as they're good carbs I wouldn't worry too much about it. :)

I'm finding it hard to eat all of my calories too. I'm eating high protein and drinking tons of water and getting so full. Some days I don't even make it to 1000 cal yet I work out for 60 mins each day. Maybe this is why I'm not losing ANY weight. :(

Protein shakes are a good idea, I have one every morning with a small breakfast before I workout (per my personal trainer's advice). Meal replacement shakes though, in my experience, would just leave me hungry and I would end up binge eating.
