Where does your fat come from? (aside from avocados and nuts) You can't do a paleolithic/primal diet without meat. Animal fat/protein make up a large portion of your energy content.

Well without being able to see your diary, I'm going to suggest that you may want to look into the types of carbs you're eating. If fruit is the big killer (ie. bananas), you may want to try out some lower carb alternatives. Berries are low in sugar and high in antioxidants. Grapefruit is also great.

Good to hear! I think it usually takes at least 1-2 weeks to get mostly adjusted......but after you do it only gets better! Welcome to the group! And congrats on the new lifestyle. Depending on how you went about your transition to primal, you may still be in a transition which is making dealing with carbs difficult. I haven't heard of Mg being used for migraines, but I've certainly heard of it's uses in helping with muscle relaxation as well as a sleep aid.......which is why I would recommend taking it before bed time if you choose to give it a try.
