Hi all, I lost our first pregnancy about two weeks ago, and my diet has gone way south since then (I had stepped on the scale for just before the D&C operation so I knew I was not in the best shape). I’m trying to get back on track but no longer so much to feel good about myself / so I can look good, but because this is…

I'm stealing this idea : )

I love Quaker's Oatmeal Apple and Cinnamon - the box's got Bob Harper's face on it so it can't go tooooo wrong I reckon!

I'm horribly guilty of this, too! For a start I think about the workout I'll have to put in the next morning to compensate for this (that usually deters me abit), and sometimes I eat things that make me really full really quickly (like eggs).

OHHH wow, this is brilliant! AND you look so much younger, too!

I don't usually eat back my exercise calories, just because it seems rather counterproductive to my system - I haven't been able to lose weight when I do that. That being said however, I do ramp up my exercise calories in anticipation of periods when I will be eating more than usual (i.e, family gatherings!)

Loving all your honest sharing here. For me, I simply had nothing to look forward to (poor social life means no one to meet, no event to "look good" for) for a period of time - and that just fueled a couch potato lifestyle. A poor excuse, of course...!

How good is this?! This is a brilliant testimony to persistence and endurance!! Well done!

That sounds quite brilliant. Mine would have to be peaches. I always overeat if I can get my hands on them...!

I really like this idea. Good motivation as well for myself! x

yes! I always do... and I never lose them even when spring comes along. This winter I'm going to run outside even if it freezes my toes!

My dear - don't let that hinder you. Dress sharply, look confident, and smile even if you feel extraordinarily self-conscious inside. Trust me, personality beats all the worries you're having. : ) Good luck!! xx

I'd say eat regularly today, maybe cut out certain foods (foods high in sat fats) if you want to feel like you're remedying something - because you've been doing well for so long you really shouldn't beat yourself up over a slip! I've had plenty of slips but so long as you get back to it and burn some of it off soon enough…

Hey guys! I'm thinking of starting to run regularly in Central Park when I move back to NYC in 1-half weeks (I live around the Harlem area...), and would be great if there are runs going on together here! Or even tips on running in the park since I'm pretty apprehensive to do so all alone myself!! xx Louise
