  • Personally, I think she's abusing her kids mentally by purposefully doing this. A smoker has an addiction, but they aren't purposefully trying to kill themselves or become famous (smoking is foolish, though.) What's also really gross is than she's WASTING massive quantities of food that could go to a food bank to help…
  • My friend did it, and he lost thirty pounds. Then he put back on twenty (although I will say his eating habits are improved). So he's doing it again. Oy. What diet plan makes you exclude the vast majority of vegetables? C'mon...avocados and artichokes? Who can eat enough of them anyway to gain weight??? I think it's scary.
  • @emzni--I love my Xpert pole! You'll have so much fun with it! I use the 250 calories per hour estimate when I log in, btw.
  • Ugh! I get shin splints very easily, too! Have you tried those new shape up shoes? I know they don't really tone the body like they claim, but my friend said they were wonderful for her shin splints. Also, go swimming! If you are self-conscious about a swim suit, do what my friends and I do--wear boy's surf shorts! I love…
  • Make sure you work your other arm...the body has a way of balancing itself, so that will help your broken hand arm. I see no reason why you couldn't do squats, one arm wall push ups, stretch band exercises, etc. Plus, if you have a cast, you'll be weight lifting all day! ; )
  • Arnica...get the gel or the tablets. Most pharmacies & chain stores like CVS & Rite Aid have it.
  • I've heard very good things about the video ( http://www.yogaforscoliosis.com/ ) marywilldiet mentioned from my friend whose daughter has scoliosis. She also used a Pilates instructor who specialized in scoliosis patients & this: http://www.schrothmethod.com/
  • RedPaperClip...love your pic, lol. Great minds...
  • There's no removal of clothes in any classes I've seen. Best exercise I can think of...you are lifting your whole body weight (many times per class), working your flexibility, creating cardio with every climb & invert, and holding poses for an isometric workout as well. I'm drenched at the end of every class.
  • Lol...my friend is in the commercial and on the box. Stay up really late and you'll see her!
  • I really like Ballet Barre type workouts (there's a hundred of them out there). They tone you so deeply with very small movements. I bet you can even find one on YouTube like someone else suggested.
