Eat it when you want to - just in small portions and then add a little exercise or cut something else out of your daily intake to make up for calories of the "yummy" thing you ate! Giving up on anything, I found, only makes you want it more and then when you do -- you OVERDO! Hope this helps.

God Bless You on the rest of your journey - Amazing!

daily weght usually fluctuates a pound or two up or down. even if you do weigh daily (as I do) pick a day of the week to officially use as your weigh-in day to record your true loss for the week.

definately! I perspire just getting up in the morning (ha ha) but much more when I work out. that is the body naturally cooling down. Just make sure you get enough water and potassium in you to replace all that you are loosing while working out.

Depending on how your day went (calorie and exercise wise) I'm with the fajitas BUT go ahead and have at least one wrap and a spoonfull ONLY of the rice and beans! Don't deny yourself - remember - moderation is the KEY!!

You are turning to food to aleviate the stress you feel. Most people will do that - and use food as a copeing mechanism. When stressed, try walking around or some other type of activity instead of eating. It's not easy - God Bless and Good Luck!:flowerforyou:

Coffee breaks and lunch time - walk around outside if you can - up and down stairs on bad days.

No matter what "program" you use, the key is eating sensibly - and counting calories. You said it, loosing slowly but surely is the sensible way to do it! I belong to TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) again we learn to eat everything within moderation, exercise, keep a food diary and weight in weekly. You must eat enough to…

You would think that after having bypass surgery 5 years ago that I'd realize that I needed to be healthy and keep my weight in check etc. I did for a while and then fell back into the old habits. In January I was looking thru the wedding album of my nephew that got married last September and saw a picture of myself - I…

add sodium intake to your diary counter! Seems to me your taking in too much. Drop the "packets" of oatmeall. (too much sugar etc.) Use the cook yourself oatmeal (so much better for you) Drink lots of water and make sure to try to stay as close to 1200 GOOD calories as possible. Good luck!

fantastic! keep it up!

All you are doing is "cutting calories" by using these drinks. The problem with any of these protein drinks is that eventually you will have to start eating "healthy" and once you do the weight returns. You're better off just keeping track of your calorie intake, eat solid food, take a vitamin if need be and exercise. YOU…

Cudos to you! Keep up the good work.

try to meet your daily calorie goal (a little under won't hurt though) - exercise also helps!

The good news is that you recognize the problem and are now willing to address it. No one can do it for you BUT the people and helpful applications on this site will help you on your journey. Take one day at a time, commit to making better choices with eating habits and some exercise. The food calculator is great - use the…
