stop weighing yourself mult times a day/daily unless you don't let fluctuations get to you and only care about the long term trend in the numbers

weigh yourself a third time and see what it says, or just use the average. sometimes I weigh myself more than once on weigh-in day just to "make sure". If I don't get the same reading twice, I keep re-weighing until I get a consistent reading. Its possible that your floor isn't entirely flat in certain areas so that would affect the reading.

daily weght usually fluctuates a pound or two up or down. even if you do weigh daily (as I do) pick a day of the week to officially use as your weigh-in day to record your true loss for the week.

on my scale, where you stand changes the reading by up to 1 lb, so picked a spot and marked with a sharpie on the scale so I stand in the exact same spot each time....... Scales suck. I wish I had the will power to throw mine away.

I weigh myself every day (usually) and take the average at the end of the week. Your body will fluctuate due to tons of different factors, so you should just ignore it. I had a gain the last two days on the scale, but it's because I had a huge loss the day before so it's averaging out.

    ^This

Unless you just want to frustrate yourself. I hop on the scale ONE time ONCE a month, record the weight and get on with my day. I'd rather be in touch with my body and honest with myself, I go by how I feel, how my clothes feel, how do I look in the mirror.

If you do weigh yourself daily, do it at the same time. I weight myself every morning, and I know there are going to be fluctuations, and just accept it, and look at the overall loss.
