  • they work at a somewhat different pace. I prefer ease into 5k. They are both great! Enjoy!
  • yes that is what I am reading too. Makes so much sense. I really want to try it- I just need to make it work!
  • totally impressed! I also do turbo fire and didn't notice nearly that great of results my first round! Good for you!!!
  • What I was saying was I bought ALL of the DVD's available for $60. yest the deluxe set! no i didn't get the gloves or mat- but like you say you can get those elsewhere:)
  • Thanks again everyone! went to chiropractor yesterday and found out I need more support in the front of my foot and a bone is dropping as I run. Well, need to invest in new shoes!
  • Thanks everyone. I figured I probably was due for new shoes- it just feels like I bought them yesterday:( The soreness is not surface but deeper. I have been using a tennis ball and rolling my foot around on it. That has helped massage it- but I know I need to take it easy because my calves on the left are also tight. So I…
  • yes, instructing aka coaching a person to do a skill is one thing, actually getting up in front of the class and doing the moves for what the class is doing is different in my eyes. I have had overweight coaches in my past and was fine and respected them. But this person was panting and dripping after each song. She…
  • thanks everyone- I guess it just appeared that she couldn't do everything to the ability she should have when I compared her to other instructors I've had. I like to be motivated as well and just personally found it difficult in this situation. I am not saying I am perfect in any manner- and I give her tons of credit for…
  • Thanks everyone! super inspired...every person looks so great! and Healthy:)
  • Thanks to everyone's response- this is great!!!
  • so happy for you! I would be thrilled to have an experience like that! Love it! And definitely something to keep you motivated:)
  • I just cut one in half-take out seeds- put it on a shallow baking pan (squash side down) bake at 400 for 30 min or so....carve the squash to get the "meat" of the squash out and then either mash and or cut up and add a bit of brown sugar or butter for taste...so good and can be super low fat!
  • I occasionally do zumba- yes people have great results but I only know it is a fun alternative and really burns tons of calories for the hour class I go to! I highly consider you to try it if you haven't! Try everything because you don't know what you will enjoy or be good at if you don't at least give it a try:)
  • Congrats to you! you look great!
  • You should be ecstatic...you are looking great and toned!
  • highly recommend this program/ app - I never was a runner- I mean NEVER! I could barely run down my street I live on without being winded...after completing the program- at my pace- I now completed an 8k (never imagined doing this) and run 1 - 2 times a week based on my energy level. Great way to increase your endurance…
  • how about having more energy or sleeping better! needing less medication, wanting to eat healthy and not reach for the greasy foods! Being able to make it through a workout dvd that I could only make 1/2 way the first time around. Etc, etc, etc.!
  • I say - give yourself a week off and just be yourself...don't count calories or keep track of workouts...just enjoy your days and obviously I believe you will keep active if you are used to it already....I have heard so many times when people do this they suddenly break a plateau:) Good luck!
  • recently heard of it- ordered it from amazon and I plan to use it in my protein shakes...
  • This may sound crazy- but I swear my hair grows faster when I am colder...(as a woman- I shave about 2 times a week in the winter, but now that I lost weight and I am colder from less body fat- I find I could shave more frequently) I also take fish oil capsules to help with prevention of joint pain - I was told that it may…
  • amazing! that is all I can say! You look so great!
  • just a little comment about the hiit's ---I think hiit 20 is easier than hiit 15....don't ever be scared..you can always stop if it is too much:) the longer you manage the better- but not always is you are hurting! :)
  • Here's my advice- pick a day you don't want to do besides the rest day and then do your running those 2 days. If you need to rest more besides this- go for it. I found that after I did c25k I did the same- turbo fire after...I didn't run as often as I was and it showed. I am now working back up to my 30 min runs...I can…
  • You are looking great! Keep up the fantastic job!
  • Loved that doc. I did a juice fast immediately for 30days and lost 15-20 lbs and have kept losing. I was hypoglycemic so checked w my dr and they okayed it. My hypoglycemia lessened and since then things have only improved . I probably won't juice again until produce is in season and cheaper but will definitely see the…
  • I will ditto what everyone else said! what amazing work you did! you must have kicked some butt and feel awesome! You are very inspiring!!!
  • So I am almost finished with my week 6 and since starting the program I have lost close to 7 pounds. I weigh in monday morning and hoping for more...but I am so satisfied as of now...I am sure I am losing inches and getting stronger. My knees were taking a beating the first few weeks, now- I am handling the jumping much…
  • YES!!! I freeze so easily! I actually am the worst right after I finish a good workout...give me about 5 minutes after a cooldown and I am frozen. But overall, my extremities like fingers and toes get it the worst and I can only shower or put on a heating pad, etc to warm them. layers of clothes don't seem to even help!
