Thanks for the support! I saw my surgeon yesterday and he removed all the fluid, so I'm back at zero restriction. The good news is I felt better almost instantly. He still wants to do a barium swallow / x-ray this weekend just to make sure there is nothing serious going on. My goal will be to lose these last few pounds and…

No worries. My issues eating have expanded to issues even drinking water for the last 36 hours, so I made an appointment to see my sugeon tomorrow morning. I'm going to ask if he recommends removing some or all of the fluid in my band. I hope it's just irritated and not something worse.

Can't help it. I :heart: me some McD's. I've lost 54 pounds eating there 5 days a week for breakfast. Fruit & maple oatmeal and a Sugar Free Vanilla Iced coffee. 410 calories and 4 Monopoly game pieces. :happy:

One other thing my trainer recommended one time - just to mix things up a bit - is to do the elliptical with a backward motion. I loved (note the past tense) mine. Sadly, it went through the wash after only a couple of weeks. Soooo bummed. Not sure I want to buy another one since the little bugger is so light and so tiny I think it's inevitable that it will take another bath. =( Perhaps a HRM is better for me.

I just bought one recently and I am still getting used to it. It is not a heart rate monitor, so you may want to consider another device if that is important to you. Good luck!
