I have to say NO! I am very hippy and curvy, and it is not the most flattering on me. I think if you are thicker through your hips, a wider bottom looks better. Something with at least an inch to help those hips out. Remember, those with hips, don't need help making them look bigger! LOL

It is the best program I have ever tried! And I started with P90X! I think for women, it is the best program to get strong and lean. I am on my second round, and I just love it! Chalene keeps you motivated throughout her workouts. I have muscles for the first time ever!

If the bands are comfortable, use them. If not, I would lower weight to what you can make yourself lift with your shoulders to the 10-12 reps. And like Chalene says, you can make yourself work hard even if you don't have a high enough wait. Just squat really slow, and concentrate on making your leg muscles work harder. It…

I created my own hybrid, because I didn't like the planned schedule. I just do the 3 CLX workouts with skipped days between, and then I usually do two TurboFire and 1 TurboJam workouts, plus 2 additional days of cardio, which varies. It's not super cold in TX right now, but I'll get out and run til about 20 degrees. Below 20 is my cut off point. Layers and protecting the head are so important. And you do warm up quickly. :)

The show is unrealistic. But, it is helping people. I agree with others that it is unhealthy to lose so much, so fast. If you watched the show last night, you can see that most of the contestants regained 20-30 lbs, which is still a healthy weight to be. I buy a pound of ground turkey, add lemon pepper and split into 4 patties. Freeze all and remove one at a time to thaw, and cook on my Foreman grill.

I eat both. I by the leanest that I can, 96% lean beef and 99% lean turkey. With the ground turkey, I add lemon pepper to make my turkey burgers! It is delicious! I would really try to find the leanest meets possible.

If you order salad, bring your own dressing. Newman's Own Lite Lime Vinaigerette would complement a Mexican-style salad well. Stay away from the beans and rice, or if you must, black beans. No flour tortillas!

Well, all this info is frustrating! I guess the bottom line is don't eat sweets, or make sure you are getting something in its most natural form.

Hi Bethany! You definitely want to have a grasp of the diet before you start. You can modify all the moves. And like Tony says, "Do your best, and forget the rest!" I am on Phase 3, and lost 18 lbs my first 2 phases. I add cardio a few days a week in addition to my X workouts. Good Luck!
