Anyone been attacked by the Used Car Salesmen... I mean Beachbody Coaches

SO, I've been doing insanity... posted a few topics and WHAM all these Beachbody Coaches be-friend me... and have blogs and are just incredibly annoying...

Yes, I like Insanity but if you just started working out- NO- do not spend the $160 on this program, that's redic! And, really- I'm not spending one million dollars on Shawn T's drink... sorry, not gonna happen.

Anyone else been annoyed by these people? Should we ban them from MFP?

I, thankfully, have never been bugged by one. Then again if they did bug me I would tell them to get off it. If they didn't, they would no longer be friends of mine here. I help people here freely because we are all in this together. I would love people to pay, but if and when I go the route of personal trainer, I will do it with people who live around me who I can motivate face to face.

i promise you that ALL beachbody coaches are not like that. i have a wonderful coach and have not bought one thing from her. She has been there for me for almost a year now , in fact been one of my top supporters during my lifestyle change.

but yes i do know what you mean by the ones trying to up their client list. i would just unfriend them or block em.

I have P90X and Insanity but have not been bugged because I don't post to the Beachbody site. Great programs though and I would recommend them. Just be forewarned, they are tough and will kick your butt in the beginning.

It is never proper to speak in absolutes, meaning "ALL" Beachbody coaches, etc. Banned from MFP??? That's a little rude, doncha think?

Not every coach attacks people. There are people who are here help, I think my reputation speaks for itself here. So since we are banning people who annoy us, I think we should ban all negative people from MFP.

I've got some friends on FB like that... It's annoying. Especially when it's your sister in law trying to sell you ViSalus... A weight loss shake. :/

Careful don't recommend them to people, because you might be labeled a coach.

The only time it ever annoyed me was when it was painfully obvious that I was in FAR better shape than the person. I refuse to take advice from someone who has a good 80 pounds on me. Sorry if that's rude.

How about instead of banning certain groups of people, just suggesting a no solicitation policy here?

I used to be a Beachbody Coach but it was only to get the discount on the DVD's & Shakeology. Also, just so you know, when you purchase the product from Beachbody direct they "assign" your purchase to a coach anyway so somebody is getting the credit for it. The majority of the coaches are in it for their discount which is 20% off everything.

I have no issues with them so far. Have a facebook/MFP friend who is a coach and has been very helpful and encouraging with my workouts. And yes, I also have no money to buy the drinks or more workouts, but I like knowing he is there to help and answer questions if I need some advice. Perhaps you have not found the right person, or too many wrong people?

I've had a couple try to friend me, as soon as I saw they were beachbody coaches I ignored them. I wouldn't mind being their friend, it's just they never gave me enough reason to do so.

MFP was way ahead of you on that one; there is already a no solicitation policy. Unfortunately, not everyone adheres to it and there have been a number of BeachBody coaches in that group.

If you get solicited by a BeachBody coach, report them.

Theres 2 different types of coaches.. ones that want to help others and give advice. and the money is a bonus, and those who just wanna stalk people until they get their money.. I have my site listed on my ticker and my page, but besides that, I dont bother anyone on here, unless they were to specifically ask me about something. No point in banning coaches just because some are in it just for the money.

There are bad apples in every bunch, whether it be Beachbody or Body by Vi/Visalus or that other one I can't think of!
Some people just have no class, and it has nothing to do with which company they represent.
I am a Beachbody coach, and if someone wants my help, they will ask for it. I love the workouts, and I like discussing the workouts, plain and simple.
If you don't like it, or that person, delete them, ignore them, or if they are soliciting you and you didn't come to them first, report them.
