Hello my fellow MFP-ers,
So i am a 30 day shred girl, but i am almost ready to move on to something a little bit more intense.
Which does everyone prefer? p90x, chilean extreme, turbo fire, insanity? they all sound awesome.
so my goals are to lose some more weight and to tone my arms and legs. oh also, do any of these require certain equipment?
Any help/suggestions would be great!!
Thanks so much!

I can only vouch for Turbo Fire and it is amazing! When you buy the dvd's from BeachBody it comes with the resistance bands and that's all you need.0

I haven't done Turbo Fire, but love Chalean Extreme because the workouts are short, so I can fit them in before work0

I can't speak for any of the other programs but Insanity is amazing and will definitely tone the areas you are looking to. It requires no special gym equipment. You are your own weights. Good luck on your journey!0

I have done P90x and currently turbofire, I am having better luck loosing weight right now with Turbo than with P90x! I do however mix Turbo with Insanity! But I have heard of people having great results with P90x!

I plan on doing Chalean Extreme as soon as I get back from vacation. P90X is probably too difficult for me at my current fitness strength level, Turbo Fire will burn too much fat (I am at my goal weight now), and Chalean Extreme is pretty much a muscle and strength builder from what I have been told and have read about it, which is what I need. I am currently doing Brazil Butt Lift and love it, but feel I need to see more tone and definition to my muscles and strength too. Good luck making your decision, if you go to the Beachbody website there is a comparison chart between the programs to help you pick from what your needs/goals are.0

P90X and Chalean Extreme are weight training programs with some cardio included. Turbo Fire and Insanity are focused on cardio. I think P90X Lean would be good for you. You will need weights, bands or a pull up bar.0

I am addicted to TurboFire! I love how motivating Chalene Johnson is during the workouts. I'm going to move onto a hybrid of Chalene Extreme and TurboFire when I'm done with the 90 days of TurboFire. My husband does P90X and we have seen results with that program too!0

I'm doing Insanity now and I love it! You don't need anything at all. I'm also at the point where I need to think about what to do next, and I'm not sure. I love the intensity and cardio of Insanity, but feel I need a bit of weight training to add to it.
I would recommend visiting the Beachbody website and comparing all programs. Hopefully you can find one that suits your needs. Good luck!0 -
I have done P90X, ChaLEAN Extreme and Insanity (as well as a few others). For what you are looking for and where you are coming from I highly recommend ChaLEAN Extreme. The only thing you will need are dumbbells.0

If you buy the products from BB most come with what's needed except of course P90X/Chalene Extreme, you'll need free weights and a pull up bar. You'll also get the free workout DVD's that you can only get from BB plus the assistance of a free Coach. Turbo Fire and Insanity are def. calorie burning exercises CE/P90X are more toning type DVD's. Hope this isn't to much of a repeat of everyone else.
Best of luck!0 -
thank you everyone! you have all been so incredibly helpful!!0

Chalean Extreme hands down. TurboFire is a great cardio program.0
