My wife is a red head... Depending on your skin you might not be able to tan. She is red or white but nothing approaching tan. I agree with the others...embrace being pale and enjoy it.

Just get a smaller plate then. :) Best advice for exercise is to find something you like doing so it's not a chore. Hiking, biking, walking... they are all good. The best exercise is the one your keep for life. You can do this if you want to and you make the commitment to make it happen.

Welcome and good luck with your goals. Feel free to add me and others for motivational support.

I go back and forth wearing contacts and glasses with very few issues. Contacts are bad when you get dirt in your eye and glasses need cleaning more often.

You can supplement your day with them quite effectively (say replace breakfast or lunch) but I sure would not use them at every meal. I had to live on weight gain power for a month in college and that was a rough month!! Just look at the calories in them and plan accordingly. My advice would be to more change the habits of…

Fat is about 3200 calories a pound and men can burn 2000 to 2500 cal a day. It's all math beyond that in an ideal world. As Jessica stated everyone loses at a different rate so you can't rely on a date.

Vegas...Lottery.....hummmm "Most of the people living on it (Earth) were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movements of small, green pieces of paper, which is odd, because on the whole, it wasn’t the small, green pieces of…

Welcome! I do like the eat this not that books. If your eating out a lot they are good to have. Beyond that making your meals is the best way to control what you get.

I can only imagine how things suck right now and I hope you can find a happy place soon. All I can give about motivation is to just get out there and do it anyway. It won't feel right for a long time but the endorphins will help you feel better and pick you up a tiny bit.
-
I try and make up for it with a 20 or 30 mile bike ride. Can't blow the budget like this every day but once in a while you just do. As long as it's a rare thing then "tomorrow is always another day" where you can pick back up and continue on the path.

It's no good unless you love the whole package. :)

I'd actually much more recommend finding some sports you enjoy that will naturally build muscle. Bike riding, basketball, rock climbing. It's a lot more fun to gain muscle that way and your much more likely to keep it up if you enjoy it. Beats a sweaty old gym any day!!
-
Muscle gain. Your so close to the weight you want to be it's almost in the noise region. Just concentrate on toning up. At first try and increase your lifting capacity (higher weight) but for toning you will quickly move to stabilizing the weight and doing lots of reps.
-
Your building muscle which weighs more per volume than fat. The good news is that it burns more calories which helps you drop the rest of the weight.
