Speed 1.0 Had to keep pausing to see what my feet were supposed to be doing !

I started today. Recently completed 6 weeks of insanity but had to drop out due to a recurring foot injury. Today I did cardio and found it ok, the option to modify when my foot ached or I got out of breath was very useful, I ended up doing about 50/50 with modified moves

I have woken up this morning with a recurrence of plantar fasciitis which I haven't had for years. Can barely weight bear on my right foot, so that's decided it for me !

I'm going to switch to T25 on Monday, can't do the month two workouts justice at all
-
Max cardio is like pure cardio, in that during the main workout there are no scheduled breaks. However it does ease off at points, my main problem was speed

Just did a workout called max interval plyometric circuit which apparently means "flailing about like a 200 year old arthritic epileptic tortoise whilst spitting sweat out of your mouth and swearing at the carpet". Whilst I was supposed to be doing a cool down stretch I instead stood trembling and hoping not to cry blood.

It's not an easy ride! Sure you will be ok

Shaun T just tried to kill me

I started week 4 today with pure cardio. I pushed really hard as for some reason I only lost half a pound this week. Apart from brief pauses I only took 2 extra water breaks, one after a couple of reps of level 2 drills and one after a few suicide jumps. Felt like doing the workout for the first time again! As a result I…

Week 3 done! Did plyometric circuit today which still leaves me more exhausted than any of the other workouts. However my fitness has improved so that I can now complete the level 1 drills in full at least a few times each circuit

Dakotababy- just read the title of the thread! I already know I'm going to switch to another programme after I finish insanity , but I look at it this way- its throwing me back into being active and I will be ready for any programme after this.

Plyometric cardio circuit is definitely the most evil video of the ones I have done so far
-
Lost 1.8lb in week one, despite having a meal called "man vs burrito" for my birthday lunch. Power and resistance circuit today, proper done in by the end!
-
Birthday workout- plyometric cardio circuit. Focused on form and doing as many good reps in the time allotted as I could. Lasted an extra couple of minutes before collapsing in a heap. During the plank drills I just stayed down and did as much as I could! Good luck to those starting today!
-
Just completed pure cardio- this is one I had to take at my own pace to an extent. There is a 3 minute circuit, then stretches then around 20 minutes which is an endless stream of movements with no scheduled breaks. I had to take 2 quick water breaks before halfway and probably 4 in the second half. By the time it got to…

"cardio recovery" today. Mainly a yoga workout with some body weight squats and lunges. Got a good sweat on and didn't get out of breath. As this one gets repeated it should improve flexibility and balance. A nice respite!
-
I have now done the first 3 days
-
Today was "cardio power" again it was very hard, however the hardest bit was the warmup before the stretches. I started failing at around 13 minutes left and just tried to push and join in as much as possible. There is a funny bit where Shaun asks one of the ladies how she is feeling and she swears and they have to bleep…

It seems to me you need 4 factors to perform well: 1)skill- to be good at your chosen Martial art 2)strength- The ability to produce physical force 3)power- the ability to produce said physical force quickly 4) endurance- The ability to continue to perfom at a certain level for as long as you need to Obviously skill is…
