most running stores around here offer a gait analysis for free and are happy to do it, they will advise you on the correct shoes for you... love my brooks, havent the heart to throw them away so I have a historical record hehe

another one for runtastic here, i use it to track runs and walks andit mostly feeds nicely into mfp. I also use rundouble which is a c25k trainer which doesnt play nice with runtastic.

i failed to see the loss so badly that my self distructiveness and emotional binge eating caused me to put all 10 stone back on....well just over 3 stone down again, being veryverycareful to document in ways my eyes can not deny - measurements/photographs/clothing etc..

logging exersize through runtastic (not just running; swimming, martial arts, walking and loads more), its a bit more conservative than mfp, i feel a little bit more comfortable with its guide lines but still regard them as estimates

this is brilliant, ive been working on this myself recently too... my knees just arnt up for the girlie ones any more and it feels rubbish being in a martial arts class and being the only one doing them like that. will have a go at reducing hieghts method :)

Hehe, I have Brooks Adrenaline GTS 8, 9, 10 and two 12's (I had a break from running lol). Love them, wish there was more choice in the colour department but when something works, it works!

I enjoyed week one so much I've restarted and done it 4 times already :). TBH I'm getting back to running after having stopped for 2 years so completely hopeless at it again, but doesnt matter how slow you go, you'll still be lapping everybody on the couch.

both times i have started off with little or no exersize at all and lost vast amounts of weight (+40lbs) ... but as I get lighter the urge to move gets stronger. I exersize because I like the way my muscles feel/toned but I watch my calories to lose weight.

yeah, it is a real thing, just use plasters/bandaids or my faverate is before you startyour run use vasaline on your 'problem' areas... for me it was always the vents in my bra slather on the vasaline and you will be golden

id love to have a hanging heavy bag but ive not good any supports strong enough in the cieling to put it. in the end i got a small punch ball which i murdered and gave up in the end, one day ill join a gym which has one.

yep its pretty neat, most machines will pick up the nearest transmitter. The only problem is sometimes they pick up your neighbours.
