  • as many as i can fit in my belly i record it all, and never feel guilty, but it has to be a high yummy to calorie ratio or its not worth it aka pizza
  • most running stores around here offer a gait analysis for free and are happy to do it, they will advise you on the correct shoes for you... love my brooks, havent the heart to throw them away so I have a historical record hehe
  • yes - any of the above I have a small running belt which is flat and fits my smart phone, or more often than not i'm wearing my running jacket which has zipp pockets, I used to wear an arm band which held my phone, I've seen people with wrist pockets, a lot of running trousers have inside pouches to hold a device, but…

  • so long as the calorie to yummy ratio is good whats the problem? yesterday i hit 3500 calories mmmm dominos pizza and gourmate pizza bread OH YES. not worried :) bet i still lose weight this week too
  • another one for runtastic here, i use it to track runs and walks andit mostly feeds nicely into mfp. I also use rundouble which is a c25k trainer which doesnt play nice with runtastic.
  • until they tax our feet, the road is free and most c25k app's are incredably cheep :)
  • i failed to see the loss so badly that my self distructiveness and emotional binge eating caused me to put all 10 stone back on....well just over 3 stone down again, being veryverycareful to document in ways my eyes can not deny - measurements/photographs/clothing etc..
  • logging exersize through runtastic (not just running; swimming, martial arts, walking and loads more), its a bit more conservative than mfp, i feel a little bit more comfortable with its guide lines but still regard them as estimates
  • i love my sleep, i hate mornings.... however... my family increased by two last year, they showed up unnannounced and have never left... but they also insist on being fed at 5.30am (sometimes earlier), makes it very hard to sleep when your hair is being pulled by a loving but hungry fury alarm clock with no off switch.…
  • i think you are beautiful, you can do it. I started at 310lbs and have a remarkably similar body shape... i hate those bits under my bra on myback even more than my belly. the first time i droped 140lbs, but i wasnt ready for it, things happened i wasnt expecting so i started again 4 months ago at 289lbs, im now down to…
  • this is brilliant, ive been working on this myself recently too... my knees just arnt up for the girlie ones any more and it feels rubbish being in a martial arts class and being the only one doing them like that. will have a go at reducing hieghts method :)
  • Lucky you :p I started at 289 i'm 5'4 and was wearing size 30 tops and size 26/28 trousers. I'm down to 245 and size 22-26 on top (depending on how fitted it is, I have a running jacket which is size 20), and size 18/20 bottoms (18 non fitted 20 fitted). The first time I lost ten stone, my legs practically vanished but my…
  • Hehe, I have Brooks Adrenaline GTS 8, 9, 10 and two 12's (I had a break from running lol). Love them, wish there was more choice in the colour department but when something works, it works!
  • I enjoyed week one so much I've restarted and done it 4 times already :). TBH I'm getting back to running after having stopped for 2 years so completely hopeless at it again, but doesnt matter how slow you go, you'll still be lapping everybody on the couch.
  • I hope it all goes well, it's probably the first thing I want to do once I reach and maintain goal for a year.
  • first time I worked on myself I lost 10lbs the first week, this time 7lbs the first week... it will settle down and most of that is just water. Perfically normal, I just look at it as the 'bonus start'
  • log it - move on. I average mine over the week anyway, and if I want that pizza and not portion control it I jolly well will. It happens I think over christmas I was 1000 over maintinance every day and my maintinance is not small lol... in the end I only put on 2lbs over christmas, and its all gone plus another lb. If you…
  • both times i have started off with little or no exersize at all and lost vast amounts of weight (+40lbs) ... but as I get lighter the urge to move gets stronger. I exersize because I like the way my muscles feel/toned but I watch my calories to lose weight.
  • people suck, i'm really sorry they have done this, i know how much it would upset me :(
  • The first time I lost 10stone (140lbs) I kept the lot, I had no confidence in myself or my achievement and due to many other factors ended up needing them again, was this because somewhere in the back of my mind my body was trying to fit back into them.. I don't know but this time... they are off and going, I have clothes…
  • worked for me perfically, right down to the village and voteing region lol
  • Egbert Ramasaran kept cows. Recurring nightmares of English Literature
  • I run, runtastic and rundouble simultaniously on my phone while i'm doing c25k... rundouble gives me the detailed intervals breakdown, and runtastic is linked to my myfitnesspal account and automatically logs the workout for me... worked really well the other day when rundouble cacked out on me 15 minutes in and i had to…
  • the first time I did it, and went on to run a half marathon, there were days when body said noooo. and it was on days where i didnt even see it coming. Just stop, move on try again another day
  • if you use rundouble it will show you exactly what you are doing
  • personally, i'm not a morning person but ever since i got a cat that likes to eat at 5.30am its become a lot easier, fury alarm clocks are determined with pointie edges
  • yeah, it is a real thing, just use plasters/bandaids or my faverate is before you startyour run use vasaline on your 'problem' areas... for me it was always the vents in my bra slather on the vasaline and you will be golden
  • the rain.. weather sucks at the moment ;) brooks adrenalin 12 big fan third pair 9, 10 too
  • id love to have a hanging heavy bag but ive not good any supports strong enough in the cieling to put it. in the end i got a small punch ball which i murdered and gave up in the end, one day ill join a gym which has one.
  • yep its pretty neat, most machines will pick up the nearest transmitter. The only problem is sometimes they pick up your neighbours.
