I am new too and so far, so good. I think this site will help me get up and go to the gym every day. I go six days a week but it is getting harder to do so. I hope to use this site as an encouragement in the tough times that, I'm sure, will come.

Good Luck. I would just say NO in that situation, but I feel your pain. If I were to go to a Chinese buffet, it would be over. Golden Corral I could say no to. No problem. Anyway, like I said, good luck.

From what you've said, my advice would be to up the calories but work out with cardio and light weight lifting.

I wish I could be sore from weight training. Trust me, I am not bragging at all. I am no weight lifter but since I started the gym I go to, I have been doing weight training every other day and I have yet to be really sore. I have always heard that if you're not sore, you're not doing it right. I'm lifting as much as I can…

If I am sick enough to vomit (Which rarely happens) I am not going to be worried about my diet lol..

I guess I just think if I don't do it the 'best' way, it wont happen. I don't know why exactly. I've already lost 26 lbs since starting on March 5th so what I'm doing **is** working but I keep thinking that if I had done it the 'best' way, according to experts, then I could have lost 30 lbs by now. lol. Crazy I know.

I am brand new as well. I have a bad habit of starting something, being all excited about it for awhile then losing interest, but I think this site will keep me interested enough to track my weight loss and check in everyday. I hope so anyway.

Yes, I know, you are right but....lol.. I have a bad habit of jumping on the scale everyday when I wake up. If I've lost, I'm in a good mood. If I've gained..well. lol. I know I need to put away the scale for awhile.
