  • Take a gun safety course and then get a Glock. A bit more effective than the other options..
  • Once you go black..
  • I love alcohol...& I've lost weight. During the 2 months I've been MFP-ing, I've had maybe 5 or 6 'party' nights with my college friends. Copious amounts of alcohol consumed & I'm still doing well. Just takes a day or two to get your body back on track, but it doesn't set you back too much as long as it's not a regular…
  • Eggwhites maybe? That's if you're not opposed to eating raw eggs. What's your beef with powder?
  • Anything if i'm in the mood to just chow down. That...and if I have 1 beer, I must have 10
  • Haha I'm not possessive over my food, but I've been on the other end myself. My old roommate's girlfriend was on weight watchers and she always kept the special string cheeses in the fridge...I couldn't resist & would always get yelled at by her =/ sorry to be on the other end! haha
  • Great post! Very informative. My salt is usually around 1600mg/day but on occasion I crave salty things and can get up around the 3000's! Scary stuff but I'm usually pretty good about it. It's all about preparing your own food like you said - restaurants & pre-packaged junk is LOADED w/salt! =)
  • Yeah when I'm home I only see my friends so often...but when I do it's an easy 30 rack of beer per 2 people...hmm 150 calories a beer average...150*15...2250...that's well over a day for me! I just have to make sure I eat a light breakfast & be extra good the days before & after a night out with the college friends. Also I…
  • 21 here if ya need some support
  • I always seem to chug a glass of water, and brew up some coffee to drink - takes up some time and it satisfies me for some reason...may just be that I LOVE coffee. It's a better option than eating junk for sure.
  • Yeah it's delicious! I do try to keep my cheese consumption down as well. 1 tablespoon on top is all i really need, that clocks in at around 50 cals (not bad for all the flavor it packs). And if i'm eating salad as a meal I'm gonna enjoy it! haha. To each their own, but it is quite nomnom inducing!
  • Being a college student, I get some off looks by my apartment mates about eating so much salad. I'm a big guy but I just can't get enough. I usually 'beef' up my salads. I buy the pre-packaged stuff from trader joe's just for the convenience factor, then chop in a cucumber and a couple carrots. I top it off with a couple…
  • By the looks of your diary, you haven't really been eating breakfast (at least today, didn't look farther). Is it that you don't like many foods? I would try to get your day doing by eating a good breakfast, lots of protein and all that. And when you are hungry, (you've eaten a bit today) make sure that hunger is satisfied…
  • How I stopped eating all that unhealthy, processed, and prepared food is I learned to love cooking. The time that you put into a meal is actually really rewarding (in my opinion) and when I sit down to a good looking meal that has foods that I enjoy (and of course is healthy) I feel great about it. You just have to keep…
  • That's what she said. And yes, I count it all.
  • Yeah their fiber cereals are delicious, have a lot of protein, and...you guessed it, fiber.
  • I have one of those fancy olive oil and vinegar stores near me so I go there. My favorite so far is Persian lime olive oil with a peach balsamic...just plain oils infused with flavor is what I like. And when I'm feeling cheesy I go for Gina's (Skinny Taste) Blue Cheese dressing. Full of flavor for being low calorie.…
  • Since it's the summer, and I'm a college student, I usually make/eat a breakfast around 9am, and then leave for the gym around 10...start my workout at 1015. I feel when I go right after eating it makes me feel nauseous, but that may be just me. So from my personal experience...about an hour. I am by no means an expert, I…
  • I would stick to something that is low carb, but high protein. Maybe a grilled chicken dish..."Sautéed chicken breast cooked in a Marsala wine reduction with mushrooms and served with roasted baby red potatoes, escorted by vegetable sauté" looked promising. Just maybe ask them to replace the potatoes with extra veggies, or…
  • Incredible! Keep up the great work =)
  • I'm a student, going to be a senior at UAlbany. Crim Justice major and Sociology minor.
  • I sure do. My mom thinks I'm nuts though! (I'm 21 and we're 'fitnesspalling' together)
  • I eat Chobani, I'm not a fan of the plain stuff, so I usually go for the fruit ones.
  • I drink too much at college & am always too hungover to exercise during the semester.
