Count me in too!

I have knee problems as well so I am starting out doing 30 DS every other day rather than every day. I am only in my first week so am not sure it that will make a difference or not.
-
I started on Sunday and did day 2 today. I am so sore and had to stop for a few minutes each day but didn't give up. Please tell me it will get easier.

I am in the same situation. I was put on blood pressure meds about 5 years ago for migraines and it lowers my resting heart rate. I had a Polar HRM at that time and was very discouraged. I contacted Polar and they told me that a HRM is intended for people with "normal health" and would not be accurate when taking…

I went to a fundraiser for our Humane Society last night and decided to be a volunteer. I am going to sign up this week and am really looking forward to it!

I am an audiologist and do tech support over the phone from home. So I am at my desk for 8 hours except for a 30 minute lunch and 2 15 minute breaks. Yesterday I was given the idea of working standing up. I rigged my desk so I can work standing up and am able to move around more. So far I like it and am getting lots of…

7 miles yesterday and 9 today for a total of 48 miles for March. I should be able to get to over 100 for the month. I am using my stationary bike and added some intervals of higher resistance yesterday and today.

This sounds good. I am going to start interval training and work up to HIIT.

I was also on Topamax for years. It became less effective so the neurologist increased my dosage and I had the side effect of blurred vision. I had to go off of it and then had a seizure. Now I am on Keppra. I didn't notice weight loss when on Topamax but did gain weight when I went off of it and on Keppra. I thought the…

I have heard that acupunture can help but have never tried it. I have noticed that getting a massage helps some but I still have to take the preventatives.
-
I also take blood pressure meds and seizure meds for a preventative. Maxalt usually helps when I get a migraine but I normally have to take 2 doses of it. I have lots of food triggers as well so figuring them out has helped tremendously. However, without the preventatives, I had headaches every day and migraines at least…

I'm in as well. I did 32 miles so far this month on my statiionery bike.

I got an exercise bike last weekend and did 60 miles this week. Is it better for weight loss to go further with a lower resistance or try a higher resistance even if I can't go as far but burn the same number of calories? Also, if I want to add intervals, should they be intervals at a higher resistance, higher speed, or…

I don't judge by the picture. I think many of the avatars are very creative. Maybe when I get down to my goal weight I will use a picture of me but until then it will be my cat.

I have had migraines for over 30 years, since I was about 12. I have many triggers, some I can control and some I can't. My main triggers are food (cheese, chocolate, caffeine, nitrates, preservatives, red wine, artificial sweeteners), changes in the weather, the heat, bright lights, strong perfume, and hormonal changes.…

My husband and I just started yoga and our Corgi, Chloe, goes back and forth between us trying to lick our faces. Luckily she likes him best so she spends more time trying to lick his face!

As long as you enter the starting time and number of minutes in MFP, it will override the Fitbit numbers (for that same time period) and therefore will not double count the calories.

Thanks! That does help and it makes sense.

I don't have high blood pressure but am on blood pressure meds to help control migraines. I have the same problem with not being able to get my heart rate up. I had a Polar HRM that showed a significant difference from when I wasn't on the meds. I contacted Polar and they said that a HRM would not be accurate. My question,…

This sounds really good. Thanks!

I just got my step this week and got Basic Step and Body Fusion. I have done the Basic Step twice and really like it and am doing Body Fusion tomorrow. I also got Low Max but that is more advanced than what I am ready for. I have been at a plateau for 8 weeks but lost 1.2 pounds this week so I am hopeful that I will get…

This sounds good! Is it OK if refrigerated for a few days or do the apples turn brown?

Callanetics sounds very interesting. I did a Google search and there were lots of good reviews. Has anyone tried the newer one - Callanetics Evolution?

Love the pictures! I have 5 cats - Bailey, Tango, Merlin, Tiki, and Max. My profile pic is Merlin. He is a 22 pound Ragdoll.

I would love to join as well and do the best that I can. I have my bike on a trainer so I will have to estimate mileage until I either get a bike computer or a new exercise bike with a computer. Today I rode for 42 minutes. Do you think 4 miles would be a good estimate? I don't go very fast but did have some resisance.…
